As my controller is at the menders i'm running 1mmm boost jets but i've noticed after between 1/2 and 1 hour it jumps into safety boost regular as clockwork now and won't change unless i stop the car then re-start it???? Could it be running too hot problems with fuel or something??? areid@empiredesign.co.uk

Hearing a strange noise on idle from the left (as you're looking at the car) side of the plenum. It only happens on idle and dissapears when the revs pick up.Sounds like a small chain rattle or something......any ideas?

As my controller is now on the way to the menders i was thinking of putting boost jets (mig tips) in. Can someone tell me which ones to use that will give me around 13/14 PSI????? Do i still disconnect the stock solenoids when i put the jets in oh yes and do i put them in the lines feeding the underneath of the big hoses going into the plenum????? Cheers

Had a brainwave last night......reconnected the standard solenoids and hoses to see if all was well with the standard set up.......it was i was getting about 8.5 PSI when i reconnected the controller i was only getting about 6.3 therefore the unit must be faulty so i've sent it and the solenoid back this morning......have been trying to sort it for over a week now and have just had enough.......

Don't think my breath is that strong????? I'm going to re-connect the stock solenoids and re-connect the hoses and see if everything works as it should.....if it does then the controller is definately caput if not then it's the controller....

Does this mean as soon as i switch on the controller i should be able to hear a click???? If i don't then prehaps the controller is faulty???

After fitting a new broken hose just behind the firewall feeding the ProfecB spec2.........still only 0.5 bar Have run a current through the solenoid valve and can hear it click so all must be fine with that. Taken off and re-fitted all air lines to and from the solenoid valve checked all electrical connections and all seems well....still on 0.5 bar Looks like the controller will have to be sent back to the states for testing which will take a few weeks........has anyone any other idea's i could try before doing this tomorrow???? Is there a way of checking if the controller is or isn't working for sure before i send it tomorrow some sort of resistance test or something???? The only other way i can tell for sure is if anyone who lives in or near London would let me check with their contoller to see if it works or not in my 300....... Thanks Alex

After discovering why i have .5 bar boost which was a broken air feed to the controller decided to find something a little better. The new hose can withstand up to 180 degrees from http://www.samcosport.com i've also bought a sleeve for it that slips over and can withstand a heat of up to 500 degrees.........think that should do the trick! Hang on a minute you live in sunny Mallorca Island of sea sand and sleepy afternoons and you're moving to Luton????????????? 2 seaters are rare i would love a twin turbo 2 seater but never found one!!!! Insurance as Legrath says does vary on your age how long you've had a liscence a man/woman driver and your postcode also if you own a garage or it's parked on a private road at night....i pay £500 a year fully comp but for a group 20 car it ain't too bad also if it has Cat 1 alarm...... Oh yes and red ones are the fastest the paint is actually lighter and creates more air flow over the contours of the car giving less drag ;o)

In my experiance this would be the case if you decided to leave your company however not sure how it works when one is sold to another.Personally i've worked for a company that changed hands 4 times and never did this happend?????
