  1. Does it also charge the I-Podand give all the information through your head unit???
  2. Can anyone give some advice, there are some units that will connect my I-Pod to the head unit. However some only play, some work with the head unit remote, some don't charge. I'm looking for one that connects directly to the unit not via the radio, one that also charges and if possible one that works with the head unit remote???????
  3. That's reassuring. I've put on new hoses?????
  4. Seem to find everytime there's a frost wheni start the car the next day there's a small drip of fuel by the fuel regulators until it warms up. What are the very best clamps and hose money can buy i want to sort this out once and for all!!!! ta

  6. Bought a fog light switch to replace my old one but..... The old one has three terminals earth feed to relay and feed to lights.... The new switch has also three terminals but these are "common" "N/C" and "N/O"??? Any ideads which of these three relate to the old terminals???? Thanks
  7. I've changed the hard petrol pipes on top of the plenum to soft ones as i have a front strut brace and re-fitted new hose clamps size 13.5 (i think) however even though they are done up tight and are i'm sure the same size as the original they leak fuel twhen the car is cold.... Is there somewhere that sells really tight fitting clamps or should i just try the next size down maybe 12 or 12.5??? Also not too sure if one of my fuel regulators is leaking do these leak or is it probably the pipe join???
  8. It does spin up more quickly definately notice the difference with that one!
  9. Ok really pleased all the belts have been done by Zen garage and after having the lightweight pulley fitted the car runs very well also about to re-fit Greddy profec b 2 back on the car which i'm sure with the pulley should feel quite quick. Also have Mongoose exhaust Apexi filter strut brace front and back ECU upgrade......but thinking what's next to get even more power??? Thinking of taking out the cats but reluctant as don't want to cook the tubs just yet.......any ideas anyone?
  10. Desperate to get hold of someone that can change my belts and fit a new lightweight U/D pulley waterpump and cambelt tensioner. Mark topless can't do this until x2 weeks Tuesday and Ryan can't until November!!!!! Anyone reccomend anyone else around the London area???? Cheers
  11. Chris can you update me with the controller progress please? Best regards
  12. 380 BHP with de cat and ECU???? No boost controller?
  13. Mine was doing exactly the same recently cleaned TB's IAA unit and re-set ECU for an hour hasn't done it since ;o)
  14. OK for some wierd reason my boost drops from 6.5 to 5 when the car warms up. Every time i try the on board consult it reads 55 i've tried testing it when it looses boost leave the car on then try the test but nothing happens unless i turn the car off then onto just ignition by this times it's re-set itself.... Can anyone tell me why it only looses boost after it gets hot and how i test the ECU on board for code 34 without a laptop??? It can't be the det sensor as Ryan changed it some few months ago i've also check the wiring from the loom to the plug and this is now all fine??? Could it be the wiring back to the ECU or something else? The temp sensor is also new by the way?????????????????? Cheers Alex
  15. You can do the consult test by yourself quiet easy as did it this morning using the ECU and flashing red light. Do a search on consult and you should find it....
  16. Actually no i didn't i'll run the car then just switch the engine off with the ignition still on???? It can't be the det sensor as Ryan fitted a new one 6 months ago..............?
  17. Still noticing a slight drop in boost from just over 6 to dead on 5.....it always happens after the engine warms up and i've been driving for a while. Can also hear some sort of woosh from the engine which does sound like air escaping but is this normal as it does it when i get full boost? However done a consult on the ECU and comes up with code 55 so all is well?*&^%
  18. Also disconnected the battery for a few hours and all seems to be well now... May have done the trick. Cheers Mark.
  19. Hi Chris Any news on the controller ,hope it arrived ok???? Cheers Alex
  20. Ok all tried and tested and reading code 55 so all is well i guess? Disconnected the battery for a few hours to re-set will drive it tomorrow and see how it feels.
  21. Cheers Legrath will give it a try first thing in the morning.........
  22. How do i do that without a consult????? Is that the bigger of the two connections on the top water pipe the blue one? Only changed that a while ago?? Also noticed always after driving for a while and the engine gets hot boost goes from around 6.5 to 5 bar......det sensor was replaced a litle while ago too??
  23. Probably been answered before but my idle seems to sit too high sometimes around 1500 then drops but for some reason will just rise again. Would disconnecting the idle valve (yellow connector) be ok to do? I'll do this when the car is warm and see how it feels for a day if it doesn't rise would this mean i need to take it out and give it a good clean or at worst replace it? Cheers
  24. Need to post something off to him anyone got this????
