So back to my original question how do i adjust it it's just over 600 and i need it to bne be spot on 750................

The to the left of the battery towards the back of the engine,just under a few pipes facing out towards the left of the car,it still feels a little low,my last 300 N/A was about 750 which felt perfect!!!!!! Any ideas how to adjust it Andy?

Tried to adjust the idling last weekend,twisted the screw a little and the idling picked up but soon as i switched off and re-started it went back to around 650-700 i want to get it a little higher do i have to disconnect something first? By the way turned it back to what it was before.......

Err no......... mines stock and if it's near London would love to know how fast 0-100 is compared with the auto have to say i did love the kick down on my old 4.8 Porsche 928...........from 60 + it beat most things to 130

These are available on e-bay suggesting This is a Tuned Eprom chip from a Japanese tuner, the affects of the chip are as follows: Remapped timing and fuelling Removes top speed restriction, common 180mph top speed on standard engine and gearbox Increases Rev limit to 7300 rpm Removed Boost Cut, so you can increse boost up to 17psi if desired Fitting instructions included* This chip will give approx 75hp at 16psi boost. This chip was tuned on a rolling road facility using the appropriate programming in Japan to produce a chip that could be safely used by every Z32 300zx Twin Turbo engine 1990 - 93. Please note that this does NOT include boost jets or controller for turning up the boost. Auction is for chip and socket only. Please let me know at the end of the auction if this is for a Auto or Manual. *Fitting of this Eprom Chip will require the ECU to be opened up and the Eprom soldered in. This is not a DIY job unless you are good at soldering. But a Computer repair man or similar should be able to do this cheaply. Would this actually increase power without any boost control or jets????

Had a non turbo import for a year just to see if i liked them.........i love them,bought a lovely red UK spec twin turbo.......love it even more....... Only problems i had in two years,PTU on the first car,PVC valves on the second..... You'll love 'em for the money you won't find a better car! By the way mines not for sale ;o)

After market boost gauge anyone?????

Tell me if i'm being dim but what is standard boost and how do i know how much boost i'm running as the needle moves up and down as i put my foot down i assume the boost varies??????

Just looking at an NSX on e-bay apparently 270 BHP and 0-60 in 5.7 seconds,is this the same 0-60 time as a 300ZX twin turbo manual?????

Sounds like PCV valves, mine did this once but never again since. Worth changing anyway only takes an hour or so......

Should i use and how much if i'm also changing the filter?

Stevo mine did exactly the same thing last Sunday,it seemed fine after a fast run,started it up again and on idle some white smoke came out.As i blipped the throttle more came out.It stopped after a while though.I noticed a little smoke when the missus drove to work yesterday a very small amount though.Spoke with J*** from Z**W**** and he has seen this before.Can't remember what the parts are called but they have cost £70 and are on their way down to me.Takes about an hour to fit and 9 out of 10 times should sort out your problem.It won't cure it straight away as oil left still has to burn out. New turbos can be £1200 to £1800 so fingers tightly crossed it's not that.I'll be fitting the new parts over the weekend so i'll let you know how i get on. If you want give me a call 07760 253430. After quite a fast run yesterday i shut down the car after the usual sitting until it cools for a few minutes. When i re-started it i noticed some smoke coming from the right exhaust.I blipped the throttle and noticed a little more.After a run for 1/2 hour all was fine. When i started this morning i noticed again a little smoke from cold. Is this the dreaded turbo seals on their way out,the car has covered 74k miles but has full NSH? I've had the car for 2k miles and am about to change the oil what should i use? If it is the seals and it's just on one side should i service both and if it's both how much do i need to spend? Sorry for all the questions but this is the last thing i need!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

I once installed a Hi Fi sytem to Ozzy Osbourne at his house up near Beaconsfield,the job was for a Mrs Sharon Osbourne,i clicked when he was driving outside on a 3 wheel trike thing........she was very sweet and he was hilarious he stood there chatting about The Beatles,how much he loved them,although he just stood there shaking,quite sad really. When i finished the job i ended up having tea and cakes with Ozzy,Sharon the two kids and his manager....He even invited me back if i was ever passing.......yeah right like he'd remember me!

My window used to rattle on my 92 import but now i've got a 93 UK TT is doesn't do it at all!!!!! There's nothing i don't like about it i used to have a Porsche 928 4.7l and thought it was the best car i ever owned...........till i bought a 300!!!!!

All 300's are targa's the UK's are cheaper on insurance. Best place to buy would be here on the For Sale section. Only thing about a UK is they're not always as good condition as imports but that's not a fast rule.. If you can find a 92 you'll have better interior or a 94 like mine the latest interior verty smart....

So if i haven't done it for a while it's always worth disconnecting the battery for an hour????????????

"Maybe it just feels suddenly different and fools you into believing it's better???????" It's a car isn't it? Maybe because you're in Scotland the air is more pure than here in London therefore it runs slightly better because the air is cleaner?

Ahh could be that i've slowly lost power then got it back!!!

So it would give me more power?

As i was wiring up the car for some fog lights i needed to disconnect the battery......... About an hour later i rec-connected it and drove off the pick up the missus when it warmed up i put my foot down and noticed power that wasn't there before,could the ECU somehow have re-set iself? When she drove it she also noticed it was quicker?????
