  1. You won't have any problems fitting those as I have exactly the same ones but mine are open to atmosphere. These will just replace your recircs as a straight swap. Very nice valves they are too with plenty of adjustment due to the washers you can either add to increase the spring pressure or remove to decrease it !
  2. That is really good as I just looked up all my previous vehicles as I could just about remember the plates lol Some of them only changed hands a few months ago, blimey thought they were dogs when I sold them lol !!!
  3. If you have the proper sequential 1's then you can change the inserts for loudness, I think the purple inserts are the loudest !!!
  4. So, does anyone have a write up or know how to remove it, do you still have the ability to heat the cabin as it is mighty cold out there ???
  5. You could also try adjusting the clutch biting point at the pedal which is easy to do albeit a little bit cramped. You will need to push your drivers seat completely to the rear and get in with your head facing the front of car and under the steering wheel, legs either outside or going over your front seat to the rear. Look up to under the steering column and you will see an 11 or 10mm nut (can't quite remember the size, its been a while lol !). Undo this nut and get a pair of long nose pliers, just behind the nut is an adjuster, which you can either turn clockwise or anti-clockwise to either put more or less pressure on the pedal. Adjust it a little at a time, making sure you count the revolutions, if it gets worse then you are going the wrong way, so turn it back the same amount and try it the other way. If you find after adjusting this a little it isn't helping then you will need a new clutch my friend. (This little adjustment may well give you a few more weeks use though !!!) If you do have mods then chances are the clutch just isn't capable of holding the power, especially 4's-up ! A leaky slave cylinder will only cause the clutch not to disengage as much and it would be harder to get into gear, quite the opposite of what you have ! You will need to get the leak sorted asap as not being able to use the clutch means stranded Z not being able to be put into gear ! As soon as I upped my boost to around 1 bar my standard clutch started to slip, and I bought an uprated RPS Clutch as Smithy sells, lovely bit of kit and NEVER, EVER has it slipped ! Olly.
  6. Mac, You've got me worried now as I have just been caught doing 58mph in a 40mph zone, the car is in my girlfriends name but I was driving (she wants to take the points for me as I have a few already, how nice is that of her !), but I will not let her if it means she will be banned !!!! What do you guys think ?
  7. Go on John, and make it a write up for th sections. Please, I am about to do it too lol ! :D
  8. I totally agree after doing it out on the street, on my own. The gearbox slipped off the jack and sliced through my hand and nearly chopped it off, its extremely heavy and I am a 10 stone weed so trying to get it back in whilst balancing it on a jack was a nightmare, cost me 14 stitches and a scarred for life hand lol !!! Take it in to get done.
  9. Computer numerically controlled (cnc) neck meaning its been made on a machine of 2-axis or more and turned and cut. In other words, very nicely designed and crafted ! Sorry, been on the drink :duffer: Olly.
  10. I got 125 out of mine with the space saver on the front ;) didn't handle very well though !
  11. dirty connections on the air flow meter, pull off the connector and clean them all up and then refit, do a ecu reset and all should be fine !!!
  12. You are both right, but the bov way will make them stay shut a little longer or not open until the spring is overcome and the s-afc2 way is to adjust it for you to stop it stalling when you fit open-to-atmosphere bov's. I would leave the bov's as they are if they work well and sound good and let the Safc2 do its thing, you will need to set the decel function which unfortunately I cannot remember how to do as I sold my safc2 to raise funds lol. Soz.
  13. Get a windows 98 setup/startup disk or create one from another machine, then use that to boot up your computer with cd-rom support, then you will have access to all your drives !!! Make sure you have set in the bios to boot from floppy/cd-rom and to press the key when prompted to boot from cd.
  14. Me Please matey, I have a fast line so no probs receiving. oliver hayes Thanks mate, Happy new Zed Year Olly
  15. Check to see it definately says Twin Turbo as that sounds about right for a normally aspirated Z. In max power they quote that time as well but it was for the na even though they said it was TT. Could be a misprint lol !.
  16. The gadgets you have like Electronic Boost Controllers etc all have a chip which stores your settings even with the battery removed. I don't unfortunately know anyone in the Coventry/Birmingham area soz. Happy new Zed year. Olly.
  17. 3 litres will be sufficent unless your going for flip which will require a base coat, usually black.
  18. That is a banging site, will be ordering monday !!!
  19. 4 tickets, just paypaled. Merry Chirstmas everyone ! Olly.
  20. Hi Bigalz, Just placed an order for two thongs for the mrs for chrimbo, they do look sexy, can't wait to see her in them lol ! :D Guys get your orders in for chrimbo they do have some very nice and very sexy lingerie on there or you'll be getting a :slap: for chrimbo lol ! Olly.
  21. Have had a completely silenceless system since I've had the car and the turbo seals haven't gone yet !!! Have now added two rear boxes though cause it was the loudest thing I've heard !!! Olly.
  22. OR Put in a couple of temperature switches, like mini thermostats that will switch them off at a predetermined temperature ! Olly.
  23. Wey hey, tapped it up no probs, tried to pull it off and no joy, got a screwdriver in between the spline and the knuckle and it eventually came off  Put back together all straight including the steering wheel, :hyper: Baggins is ofcourse right it goes on the upper spline where the cutout is and the lower one on the rack has a very flimsy locating piece of metal that the bolt goes through. All straight and dandy. cheers matey's Olly. (only took me 22 mins including a fag and coffee break lol !)
  24. Soz search police, tried searching didn't find anything remotely concerning the steering joint lol ! Ryan, cheers matey will give that a go this afternoon and let you know  (thought it was easy, just wasn't moving and I don't want to break or bend any part of the steering :) ) As for dropping it off at the garage, I never do that, thats just lazy and you don't learn a thing about your motor and they sting you for other bits and you can't guarantee they've even done it correctly !!! I know this will be done properly, cause I'm doing it lol. Cheers fellas. Olly.
  25. Does anybody know the quickest way to remove and replace the steering knuckle ??? :( Do you have to remove any other parts as I have undone and removed the two bolts but can't seem to move it up or down (please dont tell me I have to remove the rack !!!) ? Cheers peeps Olly. (By the way I got the steering knuckle through Andy, cheerz matey ;) !)
