  1. Do you think he went for a 'Batmobile' and instead got a 'T**tmobile'? That is awful.....lol
  2. It was the Wife's day off work....... So I spent a lovely day on the driveway...... lol Tomorrows bits.....lol....
  3. Makes a change for mikey not wearing a dress and high heels while satisfying a customer..........:whistling::tt2:
  4. Hi Anthony, I don't know what to say really that will be any help...... As Roobarb said, at least you might be more comfortable at home..... Maybe he will decide to get the operation done sooner?
  5. Well been at it again all day..... Fitted upper turbo pipes..... shiny Injen ones...... Ran wiring and vacuum pipe for Profec B ...... Filled engine with a total of 4 litres of 10w 40 semi synthetic oil and primed the turbo's and oil cooler...... Refilled the power steering system with Dexron II.... Topped up the transmission with a bit of fluid........ Filled Radiator with some new coolant...... Ran new earthing wires to loads of points on engine and Transmission.... Fitted Battery and Tray....... Refitted one of my amplifiers for the front speakers..... Tidied up some wiring on engine loom...... Oh and cranked the engine over a few times to get oil where it needs to go before starting...... Tomorrow is going to be plenum back on and try to get as much done as possible before my shift starts....... Oh and nearly forgot....I touched in marks in the satin black engine bay and touched in plenum's paintwork...... Polished the inside of my throttle bodies, polished balance bar, polished chrome pipe on N/S of plenum for Idle control.....
  6. Snap Richard......... I AM GOING TO JAE IN 2014...... I can't miss another year....... I can't believe I missed every single show this year..... Next year is every single show..... Do we have a list of every show date for next year please????? It's typical that for the past 6 years I have been able to go to the events due to having untold free time, but had no money due to ill health and No Z to go in....... Now I start work again, I get the Z on the road and will probably be working for all the shows knowing my luck........
  7. Mine has been superb on fuel for the past 6 years....... Cheapest car I have ever owned for fuel......... Hasn't used any in 6 years.......:whistling::lol:
  8. Door hinges on ebay at £6 per door...... Drivers door :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300-ZX-Z32-O-S-DOOR-HINGES-/200966151823?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eca841e8f Passenger door:- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300-ZX-Z32-N-S-DOOR-HINGES-/190908678372?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c730b40e4
  9. Well filled the engine with 4 ltrs of 10w 40 semi synthetic........ in total..... Filled the power steering reservoir to cold level with Dexron II....... Topped up Transmission with the little bit left in the bottle as cooler and lines had drained out when engine came out years ago..... will probably need more, but waiting to get the engine running first to see how much is left in there..... Plenum is off still, fuel line is routed back to the tank via the return pipe..... so it won't wash the bores or fire..... Fitted battery and went to crank it over and Nothing........ dash lights, no starter..... no click..... nothing.... Got worried that I had forgotten something or the starter had died..... Then found the connector undone behind the drivers headlight unit that goes to the starter solenoid..... plugged it in and hey presto...... cranked over for 30 seconds, waited 10-30 minutes, then again........ Done that 4 times now.... going to check oil level tomorrow morning when I get a chance to do more.... I also filled the radiator with Long life coolant..... I spent ages trying to find distilled water to use, but could only find de-ionised water..... and was told they are different and to only use distilled...... Especially as I am in a very hard water area.........
  10. Well ran new earth cable all over rear of engine..... Replaced the corroded earth strap from the fuel rail with nice earth cable and crimped connectors.... I ran all earth leads from where the battery earth is bolted to the firewall..... 1st lead to the top bolt on the auto transmission...... 2nd Lead goes to the cam sensor bolt on passenger side then daisy chains over to the same bolt on drivers cam sensor.... I also used heat shrink on every crimp terminal to get a better seal and try to slow down the corrosion that usually occurs.... I have also replaced the corroded main earth from the car with a bit of 2 gauge audio grade Earth Cable and also did the live to the starter while I was there..... I used gold plated audio Battery clamps to fit them..... Another job jobbed........
  11. I did some on a few cars years ago and found it was best to light them up from behind when spraying so you don't get runs.... They can look great from the outside and then you see the runs when you light them up, or uneven paint thickness..... I used to do the indicators with a light fitting in the unit and run off a 12v power supply..... Hope you don't mind me chipping this in to the discussion......lol Russ
  12. Give them a drum each...... Drum n bass............lol
  13. Nice work there mate..... I like this idea having 2 small and valuable passengers myself........lol But I am too busy to make these, so I will just stick them in the boot under the targa straps..... if they are safe enough to store the targa roof's without them breaking, they are safe enough for me kids........ :whistling::biggrin:
  14. All the Best Anthony...... Will be thinking of you on Wednesday...... Hoping all goes well and you recover quickly mate...... Russ

  22. Cheers MantaV8, going to get cutting and crimping today and make a lovely new mini loom that earths a few point behind the engine, fuel rail and bell housing to the bulkhead..... make sure there are good earths everywhere.... Hopefully I will spot any vacuum lines that aren't used...... Cheers Russ
  23. Nice looking wheels......... they would look nice on mine...... As Hollings said.... all depends on offsets and width......
  24. Fitted pipes from MAF pipes to turbo's, ran new power steering braided lines, Gave floorpan full underseal coat, fitted new grommets in floorpan holes, lowered car back down on the floor, Polished chrome plenum brackets, deleted PRVR solenoid, removed Wategate solenoids, refitted tailgate interior panels and fitted dynamat to tailgate........ I also spent ages trying to work out how I am going to fit all my audio in the boot and not see it...... Now she is back down on the ground I can't wait to get her running and drive her........lol
  25. Nah...... Mine clears speed humps fine...... If your going fast enough you sail over.............. If you brake it gets removed.....lol
