  1. I ask about oil and Jeff pops up with some roundup..............lol
  2. Vacuum lines? I am running a profec B and have deleted AIV, EGR, Water pipes, PRVR, wastegate solenoids.... I am left with 2 vacuum nipples on the Drivers side turbo inlet pipe and 1 on the passenger pipe..... do I just bung these up? I was just going to connect the 2 drivers side ones together and somehow bung the passenger one up? It's a bit confusing as to which vacuum pipes I need, as this is the first time the engine has been together after the TT install.... I think I understand that:- I take the 2 pipes from the Profec B II solenoid and connect the N/O to the actuators via a T piece...... the Com to the 2 pipes feeding the throttle bodies via a T piece. And a vacuum into the main Profec-B II unit from the plenum ( also feeding my boost gauge). The recirc valves go to A) drivers side goes to balance tube vacuum outlet. B) Passenger side goes to outlet on side of plenum ( that screws in )???? The PRVR delete means I connect the fuel pressure regulator to a plenum vacuum pipe where the PRVR was originally connected to......? Earth Wiring From Battery? The battery earth wire tha goes from the battery to the body must have been lost...... I have a Gold battery clamp terminal from the audio.... I have run a bit of 2 gauge cable to the bodywork and used a large gold crimp to fit to the original earth point on the bulkhead.... Were there any other earth wires from here to gearbox bolts, engine block, plenum, etc....??? here is where I am upto.... I am hoping I haven't forgotten anything....... Cheers Russ

  10. Have you ever considered a career on Blue Peter....???.......lol I do think someone should do youtube video's for a 'How to" section on things like water pipe delete, Aiv, EGR..... You could do how to fit things and repair guides...... Would make a nice reference section on here..... You have Groover and Phutumsch who are the LED and lighting advisors.....lol Mondo..... who advises on interior trim...... Mark Derby who is the Audio build advisor...... Loads of people including JeffTT for engine work..... Boldy and Manta V8 who are the bodywork and paint knowledge.... Redwine300 and Ruishy1 for welding and fabrication advice..... And the list goes on....... The Forum could build up a lovely reference library and advice section...........?????

  13. Thanks to everyone for the advice...... bought some semi synthetic from a local motor factors I get trade in, just to get her running and will oil change as soon as I know the engine and turbo's are good...... this will only be in the car for set up and checking things over..... Then to fully synthetic...... I must admit the oil I drained out of the sump was like new...... clear, no deposits or dirt...... can't have ever been run on it...... I dumped the oil filter and fitted a new one..... Just need to finish the last few pipes for power steering and It will be off the big wooden blocks at last......lol My neighbour actually asked to play giant Jenga with my blocks the other day......cheeky git.....lol It makes it extremely easy to get to the entire underside and underseal everywhere without having to miss places that have axle stands....... plus it is still sitting on the wheels so very sturdy..... Not dropping on my head......lol

  23. That's why I did bottom feed.... so it can't run back into engine through feed line and top return so it doesn't just drain back to the sump....... Should work same as a standard cooler..... Just a bit bigger.....lol Not Gigantic...... only twice the size of the std one.....lol
