If you have legal cover on your insurance, get them onto reclaiming your excess after from the third party, neck injuries as it will be stiffer tomorrow..... make sure she see's a doctor to get it checked out....... If it wasn't her fault it shouldn't affect your insurance next year as long as it doesn't go knock for knock..... If her insurance gets full recovery then you should be fine...... Well as most will know by now I have been rebuilding my Z this year..... I finished the welding about a month ago now and have been working to get the car running after a TT conversion.... A few days ago I primed the engine and new oil cooler ready for a test firing..... Today I got most of the bits finished..... all the injector plugs, coil plugs replaced with new ones, final intake pipes fitted, fuel lines connected...... I still have 3 small vacuum pipes to block off and the viscous fan to fit when it arrives and run vacuum pipes to the recirc valves.... But I turned the engine over just to see what would happen and she fired up almost straight away.... Oh my god she is loud..... I forgot how loud the exhaust is...... I turned her off after only about 20 seconds.... I couldn't resist..... I don't think one of my neighbours was happy...... lol I did forget one thing..... to drain the old fuel and replace it with new..... I was very shocked to hear her fire up and tick over as well as she did considering the fuel is at least 5 years old...... I shall be putting a video of the first firing up on here tomorrow....... Just need to tighten the alternator belt first..... and add some fresh top grade fuel! I am now one very happy Z owner............:clap::thumbup::clap: I would like to thank every single one of you on this forum for all your support with all my posts and question, parts and advice.... That is why the forum has the wonderful Funkysi.......:wink: I bet if it was small and fitted in a case he would pick up when he is over in the US..... I don't think bodykits, spoilers, engines or gearboxes would fit though.....lol

Hi Anthony, In a way I am glad you will be coming home, as at least you can relax in your own home as much as possible. Sorry to hear things can't be sorted out as quickly as you wanted them to. Hopefully being at home with the ones you love will help you get strong enough quicker..... I have to say after watching all the Cr*p you have been put through mate and still be fighting and as positive as you are is inspirational...... I am guessing when you are home, we will see loads of posts and threads with your name on it.......lol

Mine does that and dims..... I thought it was because at night it doesn't need to be as bright to see it as it does in daylight......??? Same as head units for audio, dim at night...... Get a multimeter and test that the clock has an earth and live going to it......

If I remember they are the same size as subaru?? My local motor factors had some.... Took in the pipes and old gaskets and the knowledgeable staff there looked and went straight to the correct bins..... They usually keep a vast array at quick fit ...... just need a sympathetic fitter.... not one that will charge you a fortune..... I paid about £12 for full set....... guessing it went in the drinks fund......as no receipt......lol

Mine was done in 2000 - 2001, so 12 - 13 years with window in and still hasn't peeled or had a problem.... the painter was very good......
