  1. Well my Z is now SORN and off the road for a while............ missing her already..........:crying:
  2. Float switch is stuck telling the pcb that it is flooded. Faulty connection on wiring from float switch to pcb. Have you tested it actually switches with a multimeter set on continuity / resistance setting? Other than the obvious it could be the PCB......
  3. http://www.justanswer.com/uk-appliance/7fapo-wqp12-9348-bush-dishwasher-showing-error-code-e4.html try this..... "E4" code relates to the overflow detector There appears to be an internal sump. Lean the machine back about 35-45 degrees to remove the excess water from the dishwasher. It might be messy so be prepared. By design the sump collects water from condensation i.e. (Cold outside machine wall, hot inside machine wall) hence condensation builds up and is suppose to and should evaporate in the right environment. Placement and installation locations play into a big part of the design. You will notice by observation just in the centre there is a polystyrene float. This is what activates the overflow switch which throws the error code. This probelm is simple to fix, just take off your kitchen plinth and turn off the dish washer power. then at the base of the dishwasher there are 2 plastic clip access panels, take a blunt screw driver or knive to help you ease out the plastic panel. once this is off, simple take a dish cloth out mop out the water, particularly from the left hand side as this is where the sensor is. Once dry (ish) replace the panels and switch on - DONE! its that easy
  4. If it was joy riders, surely someone would have heard it drive away? If taken for parts they would have either pushed it down the road or low loadered it away so as to be as quiet as possible? I have had 2 cars go this way......
  5. Mine is a partial VIN in the DVLA system apparently, I know Chris basildon's VIN shows Nissan and an engine type VG30.... but nothing else...... Tried to look up parts the other day for him.....lol Older VIN numbers and Imports are a very hit and miss affair........ as TonyB says.....

  19. Lee have you tried...... In the Right hand isolation valve under the boiler, (heating return) you will see a nut facing forward, AFTER ISOLATING ELECTRIC & WATER SUPPLIES, drain the boiler, remove the nut, there is a mesh filter (strainer) inside, my guess is it is filled with crud, wash it out, and replace , refill and put back into use, problem solved "Taken from another forum" also found this on Q&A site for your boiler ......
  20. All I can say is "Thank you Mr. K" as without you we would not all be here, I would not have my Z to drive and enjoy. I also wouldn't have got to meet such a diverse bunch of owners......... and make some new friends with the same passion I have..... I do love this statement it say's he made..... “A car is a horse. I want to drive a thoroughbred that’s in tune with my heartbeat, but not something that’s too dressed up for someone like me,”
