  2. :thumbup: Well first day at work over and it was extremely busy today after Christmas holidays....... I think I will enjoy it...... but going to take time to learn what I am doing.......lol I went for a drive in the Z after work and she felt good.............. slippery........ but good....... lol

  7. Code 55..... Absolutely nothing...... all fine..... Everything looks good...... she is running very smooth...... The auto transmission shows No error codes either....... Just need to understand the A/F mix reading that says AF and AF Right Hand...... one says rich and other says lean???? So I shall be dumping the oil out of the auto box in the next few weeks, cleaning the filter, replacing the seal and refilling with nice fresh fluid...... then flushing again a few weeks later to make sure torque converter is fresh as well..... been reading this is how to do it....? I am getting feeling that the transmission maybe causing some of the lack of power being put down then suddenly bites and back end goes..... need to get someone to check it out who knows Z auto boxes..... She lives, no stalling and sounds really nice..... Right off to bed with me as start new job tomorrow morning........ early start.....
  8. Went for a drive to test out the new Bluetooth Consult connector and NDSI android on my Galaxy Tab II........ and it works great........ Can now check sensors and fault codes.... And to see how slippery the roads were........:whistling: It was fun and a bit slippery, the back end kept stepping out........ it wasn't me seeing how much welly she can take......... honest guvnor........ lol

  18. Noel, are the OEM Lambda sensors Bosch ones? I am due to start the new Job Monday and was going to order some through work if they are Bosch..... ? I will get the resistor tomorrow...... Thanks for this Noel......
  19. I am after a few bits and wasn't sure if anyone has tried successfully to use aftermarket parts.....?? 1) Lambda sensors.... I was looking at Bosch replacement ones as they are apparently the OEM supplier.... part number 0258 986 504 2) Temp sensor for ECU - Nissan 22630-51E02 or aftermarket Intermotor 3) Temp gauge sender - Intermotor - 52540 / OEM - 25080-F3900 4) DET sensor - OEM or JECS I wanted to hear from anyone who has tried either successfully or not to use non oem sensors and get some advice....... I know some parts cause problems and Noz and others have had them fail or not function correctly so wanted to see if any of these are available and recommended by anyone.... Thanks....

That's not a Si rant....... just saying it how he see's it..... lol I know he doesn't like my kit and probably doesn't like yours...... but I know Si can appreciate the time and effort we put into our passion for our Z's...... Even though Si doesn't like the look we went for..... I hope (Gulp!!!) And mine is going back to stock as my taste has changed and I want a cleaner OEM look....(Getting Old).... So taking off my 13 year old bodykit and storing it in the loft...... ready for antiques roadshow in 50 years time.... lol

She does feel better driving her, but still feels...... well..... not quick..... Ignition Timing tomorrow.... so will post that up when results are in.... lol Off for a friends Birthday meal in a while..... So back on later......
