RR Data
Seemed the most appropriate thread to paste this into :D Summary of guesses so far... 51x - 550 (crank) (gonna regret saying that, aren't I?!) jaffa - 330 (crank) bagins - 350 (crank) stevexxx - 270 (crank) (my guess for you ) kirbz - 450(+?) (crank) cybernet - 370 (crank) Mac 1 - gotta be embarrassingly small, or he'd have made some kind of guess Mr Munster - 250 (rear wheel) AndyP - 300 (rear wheel) The Shrimp - 300 (rear wheel) Ryan - maybe you could incorporate the guesses in somehow Who guessed closest to their actual figure? They all now seem pretty optimistic :( I was 32BHP out @ wheels :) Pete

Group events
Hello again ;) The rolling roads session was great, met lots of new people and had great friendly competition and banter :D This sort of event IMO can really bring a bit of harmony, direction and friendliness to the forum :) and I'd love to have more similar events. I think the bit of competitiveness was a major factor in ensuring a good turnout. Local meets are great, but lethargy is always a factor. Competitive meets almost give more 'incentive' to appear as people make more effort ;) Also the fact that the venue was small helped the fun I reckon. What other events along a similar theme could we have, involving more people? 1/4 mile is a good one (I would say that). Concourse? Track days, any others? Just thinking out loud ;) Any more ideas or comments? Cheers Pete

2 Gearboxes now!
My autobox 'revved out' while running at Santa Pod, Icoasted down to a standstill like the clutch wasn't engaging. I fixed it by reconnecting the Autobox ECU connectors. I doubt the garage would have missed something that - but it might be a wiring/electric prob somewhere? Pete

courtesyparts.com
Hello, I ordered some bits from courtesy Tuesday last week and got the confirmation email that day. They said I'd get my email with UPS tracker number in the next 1-2 days, but I haven't had it yet. I've sent a couple of emails asking if there have been any stock or despatch problems to sales@courtesyparts.com and had nothing back  Just want to know if anyone else is dealing with them at the mo, and if their email is working? Cheers Pete

Autobox transmission loss
Yep me too now :) I guess manufacturers start off quoting flywheel fig so to maintain comparability, the RR guys do too  Plus the numbers are bigger :D Sorry - thought yours was an auto for some strange reason :D
-
Autobox transmission loss
Jezz - how did they measure that tho? Its just believing one RR setup against another... Not having a dig just wondering how they can measure in on a par with manuals? IMO It was the 2nd gear selection that threw it yesterday - unless there's a way of holding an autobox in 4th (is there??) then its hard to compare auto and manual flywheel figs. Nice graph BTW :D Pete
