Hi Steve,

See you found Devlins site, I prefer the TD05 18G's as the only have 100rpm more lag and 50BHP more BHP!!!!!

Greddy tubs yum yum:D:D

Smw buy some or risk looking like a Diesel powered car against my plastic fantastic:rofl:

By the time you get over your turbo lag, you won’t be able to read my number plate :p

On a serious note I do think that uprated intercollers and turbo's are not too far away.

But then at the same time I would probably go for 555's and lightened pully.

But, I'm going to have some fun with 15 psi for a while to help the turbo's on their way.

And only when they show signs of faliure I will upgrade.

You'll have to let me have another drive of your motor when you get them Mac, so I can see what sort of power increase it has since last time.

I thought 15PSI wasn't too harsh on stock turbos Stu?

I thought it was when you started to dabble past 16PSI was when you start the dreaded Blue Vapour, as demonstrated by some aahhhheem vehicles on Sunday?

Stu, is your Z a wide arze version because Ineed to scroll right everytime you post :D :D

By the sounds of things, you've got an excellent setup and I would stick with it.

I read an article a few years back saying that trying to mod a Z past 400bhp just wasn't worth it in terms of cost.

I can now conclude at great expense.......that it just ain't worth it ;)

I imagine 2 would be ultimatly awesom eif you can be arse to wait.

Mmm! Is that US hp or UK BHP

That'll be around 350 on our RR:D

Steve

UK, LOL

SCA in Norwich. :)

Well i've decided on my engine rebuild and its getting 20g tubs...sorry iain but i want her to have the most bhp around:cool:

so its also NOS injection as well to compensate for the massive lag...mmm get goose bumps thinking about all that power :D

So when i get my tubs off I will get them checked out and if there OK someone could have them for a very reasonable price...stu??

Just got to get the damm engine out first...start it when i get back from holiday.

Kirbz

Steve.

Once again it hurts me to agree with you. Unless you got a big bag of cash lying around, a genuine 400bhp is good value for money. Above and beyond that the cost gets silly.

Cheers

hi steve -

you really thinking about getting the TG05-16's - i would love to but how can you justify spending that much money on turbo's?

Kirbz - you mentioned you could get cheap turbo's, how much for a set of these??

Regards,

Alex
