If you don't have any luck with the adjustment, you could try using 100W bulbs but beware, they do blow quite regularly due to heat build up.

I also had this problem, In the end I replaced both my headlamps.

solved it for me, but it is the expensive way. Well until you hit something cus you didn`t see it.

Replaced them! Jesus, that was a bit overkill.

No offence but, you could have opened them up and cleaned them. The new ones dont have anything different in them. Or you could have got me to chrome vinyl them for you at less than half the price.

I took them to bits, they was fooked, Reflecters shafted. So bought 2 brand spankin new ones that had been chromed vinyled. Bought them of some one on this forum. Bought both for the price of 1 .:D

Them buggers is slow at getting back to me. I spoke to them last week.

The problem is that to get a finish on the plastic like you would get on a new car, the plastic has to be smoother than a babies arse. We are looking in to ways of making it so, so I will update ASAP.

Hi

You could do a search on the forum.

Or you could try PIAA bulbs

I tried changing bulbs, no change!

These PIAA bulbs H3 give 85w of light off 55w

If you change to 100w bulbs I am lead to believe they blow, because in the headlight space they over heat & blow.

The PIAAs cost £30.60 + VAT + P&P total around £40 for pair.

They do make a difference!

You need H3 Platnum White part no HE271/ECB1 but check first.

They have own webb site, but have to buy via a dealers

Hope this is of use.

Arthur.

I have recently installed these and I can say they are a massive improvement.

Let us know about them chroming cos, due to the bubbled effect I have now looks shite.. your bake-afoil didn't last very long, it bubbled within a week of being fitted.

Richard

I bought the PIAA Platinum whites from Demon Tweeks - they cost £26+vat.

Excellent improvement over stock.

PIAA also do "Extreme whites" for about £70-80 ish. I hand these in my Supra and they were good but not twice as good as the Platinum whites so extra cost not justified.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
