  1. Hmmm, could be the one that Kev, who bought my UK Spec one went to look at, judging from the colour/location. I won't say anything, in case I've got the wrong end of the stick - but that was deffo pearl white with "half-leather" seats....
  2. Hi there, Spotted a nice looking red g-plate (I think with a mongoose) tonight in Spot Lane, Bearsted - was a bit dark. Gave you the thumbs-up, but since I was in my old faithful 525 you may have thought me peculiar. That's a whole load of zeds in my area all of a sudden. Nice. CheerZ, JB.
  3. It's gonna be tough to shut the bonnet with it there!! :D
  4. No mate - it was in Clarkson's video "Hot Metal" - which had a full line up of Zeds from 240 - 350. Actually, since he set out to prove that cars were getting heavier and slower, he told my missus that mine was never going to win, whatever.. LOL. Having said that, Mike's car would have won anyhow - turbos rule!! CheerZ, JB.
  5. Hi mate - don't suppose I should tell you this, but, unless they've moved it since I had mine, it's by your right leg, on the top of the lower console cowl, just to the right of the steering column. It's quite a big button. BTW, I don't think it's gonna feel much faster with it off - mine didn't; although when Jezza C lost to Gio's 300 in my car, he turned it off and left half my new tyres on the start line!! :slap: Good luck - and watch out for hard obstacles!
  6. Yes mate - she has the following fitted: Stillen front & rear sway bars Stillen adjustable tension rods Tokico shocks Eibach lowering springs Front Strut Brace Makes a big difference - really sits lovely and flat... :hyper: CheerZ, JB.
  7. Thanks bud :D - and yes, I sure am... She's running great at the moment, but very rich - which is good from a safety point of view, but may be able to be improved slightly I guess.
  8. Turboz, My spec list (courtesy of former owner Steve) is: Single pop intake ecu reprogrammed for 555cc nismo injectors Apexi Avc-r boost controller Nismo 555cc injectors 87.5mm wiseco forged pistons Ported and polished heads Greddy Side Mount Intercoolers RPS Turbo Clutch Turbo Dynamics Roller bearing turbos One piece lightened steel drive shaft It feels at the moment like Steve did a great job of selecting all these components... plus, I was mighty glad of the AP six-pot brakes when I rounded a corner to find a tractor hauling a corn cart!! Absolutely no worries for them big boogers! CheerZ, JB.
  9. Took my new Z to work for the first time today since it was such a nice day and a Friday. To my delight on the way home, I had a nicely warmed up Zed, an empty slip road/dual carriageway was able to try out the acceleration for the first time - OMG it was like launching a rocket!! :hyper: According to me AVC-R I peaked at 1.44 bar - foooking marvellous!!! Now I'm not into bombing along the road at ridiculous top-end speeds, but the shove in the back and the need to hang on to the steering wheel whilst in mid-boost - that's what Zedding's all about :nana2: It was nice to see the petrol gauge accelerating downwards almost as fast as those 555's did their job!! Just thought I'd share that with you!! Mr Grin. :) JB.
  10. Ay, 'tis an ugly beast - great drive though - drove one round a race track on a Porsche "try and sell me one" day - when the Porsche racing driver took me round it defied the laws of physics for something so tall... amazing. Equally, pretty nifty off road too - although I'm sure not many do any mud plugging! :nono: CheerZ, JB.
  11. Blimey - another one!! Nope wasn't me kaz... I am in Didcot at the moment!! :D Was it Cherry Red or Standard - if the former, it could have been the one I saw on Saturday... CheerZ, JB.
  12. You might want to ask Phil D if he's still subscribed - he owned one for a number of years. There's also a small owners forum somewhere - sorry, can't remember the name. HTH, JB.
  13. Vote cast. :D Best of luck - I'm still bloody paying for ours... :headvswal CheerZ, JB.
  14. Spotted a nice 'H' plate with gold wheels (I think), driving through Maidstone town centre during the River Festival on Saturday afternoon; looking good! I was going the other way in a black cherokee, so if you saw me and missus giving you the thumbs up you may have wondered why! :D
  15. Hubba Hubba Hubba - me likey! :hyper: Let's hope they decide to sell it in the UK market - sure it'll take an age to get here if they do though, just like the 350 did.
  16. Paul - I'll give you a call later mate - for Burger arrangements.
  17. Hi Karen, For anything like that I use Tilyard Autos in Maidstone (01622)663662; they're in Tovil. The garage is run by a top bloke called Simon - who's done loads for me in the past. He's away on his hols at the moment though. I'm sure he'd do your tyres for you; He's back at the end of next week. CheerZ, JB.
  18. LOL - too right, Paul - been working away in Oxford a lot lately... let's do it soon! CheerZ, JB.
  19. Hi Karen, Have you got standard wheels or bigger ones? I know 19's can be really dear. Have you tried mytyres for a decent price? I know someone in Maidstone who'll fit them if you get them delivered there and he won't rip you off! Nope - not a red one in Madginford, I've got two red ones. I'm on the Ashford Road. I often drive through Detling on the way home (I work in Canterbury) - never seen yours, are you in the village centre? CheerZ, JB.
  20. About 6pm today - you were in front of me in the groceries queue - I would have said hello - but thought you may consider me a weirdo!! (not saying I'm not of course!! ;) ). Anyway, less than 1/2 mile from the 2 of mine parked up!! 3 Zeds in Bearsted - good effort! :hyper:
  21. Hi Paul, Have a long list of jobs scheduled for this weekend - however, I'll keep an eye on the thread and if we can get out for it - we will. Also, would be best if we don't need to hold it on a boat!! Bloody Weather! :headvswal CheerZ, JB.
  22. ahhhh - a piece of forum folklore.... First met him at a meet where he tried to suggest I might want to get a set of DBA discs from his "secret supplier" at a special price of about £400 (just for you mate...) - implied they were handcrafted by his grandfather in his forge in SA or somesuch.... Eventually bought the very same discs from silverfish performance at about £150-ish IIRC.... you had to laugh... I do believe he was also telling us how he'd burnt off a couple of lambos on a trip to Le Mans in what was to become CJ's car, cos of all the super mods.... Enough Z, I think!! :nono: Always a pleasure to read his posts though! CheerZ, JB.
  23. Apparently, Homer is painted in soluble paint - so he won't be sticking around long... :slap: Gotta love it, though...
  24. No mate - no Z'ing for me on Saturday - only Sunday last week... good luck with fixing the clutch! Hope to see you blokes around soon! CheerZ, JB.
  25. Hi Chaps, I was out and about in Medway yesterday too - but not 'til a bit later in the day... Bright red. I'm only over in Maidstone. Perhaps we can get a Medway mini-meet going sometime? CheerZ, JB.
