Hello Steve, Welcome on board!! Article almost complete .. will try to send it to you tonight, honest! Hope you enjoyed the show on Sunday, we did, even the missus managed a little enthusiasm (I had paid the price with two days of preceeding shopping, though!)... :D CheerZ, John.

What colour would you have?
Hey Bud! Where's grey, huh? I'm sure every current Z owner out there who hasn't got a grey one at the moment would like to get there's sprayed in the BEST colour....:D :D (no undue bias here) Ooops, cue: colour wars all over again! Having said that, given the choice, I think I'd quite like a lovely silver one especially seeing as it wasn't an option in UK spec ... think I'm comfortable enough with my own sexuality to take a chance:D :D CheerZ, John.

UK & Jap spec insurance.
Doh! Forgot to mention - that was the quick quote. The full quote failed about 10 times, then gave me a referral. Just called them and they said they can't quote me yet since my renewal's not due 'til January ... very helpful chappy, though, offered to call back in December. As I said, fingers crossed!!! CheerZ, John.

UK & Jap spec insurance.
I've just tried a quick quote with LloydsTSB too ... it also came out with a ridiculously low quote of around 250-ish quid. Too good to be true, I reckon. I shall ring them tomorrow to find out. If it's true that their only ever 10% out, I'll be fecking amazed ... not to mention ecstatic!!:D :D Renewal's due soon - this would be bargain of the decade. Fingers-crossed - but optimism level is low! CheerZ, John.

Zed might have to go
Well m8, I guess that would depend on the age/condition/spec and most importantly the price!:D :D There's seems to be a high-demand for manual TTs though - if memory serves me correct, there's a couple of people on here and on z-club.net looking for one right now. I wouldn't have thought it would be too much of a problem ... but how ya gonna replace it?????:( What's the spec? CheerZ, John.

Fine politician in my opinion Mr Duffer ..... the like of which has not been seen since :D :D :D Besides, we all know he's a sex god now, just ask Edwina:p LOL!

Right whats best AUTO or Manual
... And .... Given that manuals are rarer than autos, that must mean there's some frustrated stick shifters out there looking to make the change:D :D :D :D Teehee.

NZR Knight Rider?
Try again on correct thread - Just as an aside, some of the girls in my office used to call my black 300 Kitt ... didn't know whether that was a good or bad thing ... after all, the Trans-am is missing the 300's voluptous curves for a start. Thankfully, though, they all agreed that David Hasselhof was a complete wimp, compared to me :D :D :D

- Right whats best AUTO or Manual
Doh!! In fact, I was laughing so much, I forgot to vote .... Personally, I've had both (auto and manual that is), and I definitely prefer playing with my stick! - But, like you say, it's just down to personal preference IMHO. CheerZ, John.- Right whats best AUTO or Manual
Hats off to this humour!!!:D LMFAO guys ..... "Changing gears in my sleep" - wait 'til I try this one with the missus!! Mike what viscosity would that oil be then?:p- Legal Advice
But I think there's a special clause in UK law that says if they've damaged your Z, standard disclaimers about GBH etc. do not apply!!! In that case it's carte-blance to break-away!:D :D :D Who said ignorance is no defence? John.- Zxtra
Hi, nice to know's it's all running so swimmingly!:D As far as Zxtra goes ... I'd contact Mike Feeney at MJP on 01277 374201. I'm not sure if it's part of his empire or not, but there's certainly a link to in on the MJP website: http://www.lightman.co.uk/mjp/ I'm sure he'll be able to point you in the right direction. If that's the number you've been calling, then the full address is on the website above. HTH, John.- FAO Nelson Mainfella
LMFAO Mike .... Well, it caught my attention - "fished in, fished in". Nice.:D - Z Spotted
Here we go again ..... and it's not even Friday LOL  - Is it me or have BMW lost the exclusive image
Couldn't agree more - I never have bought the "exclusivity" label with Beemers - it's just as you say .... it's the volume of sales lark - there's hundreds of the buggers around! Common is the word. This is not compatible with exclusive. What does annoy me though, is the attitude, when on a previous test-drive of a 318is coupe (for the missus) - the salesman (who typically knew less about the car than I did), made the comment "These cars sell themselves - everyone aspires to owning a BMW in their life" What utter crap! I've had 22 cars in the last 14 years and not ONE of them's been a beemer.:D CheerZ, John.- '28 Days Later', yup Zombies are cool again:)
Hmmm, Sorry guys, a little off topic here, but hearing Big Roy mention that there were no Zeds in it, made me think of asking what films you can think of, where they have significant involvement .... I'm sure it's been done before, but not since I've been on here ... A starter for ten - Jean Claude van Damme film - pretty sure it's Timecop - there's a shiny red 300zx on the stand in the shopping mall - and it gets a pretty good amount of airtime:cool: Anybody else think of any? CheerZ, John.- Talking Of A Bad Week
Jeesh, Tony ... I thought that sort of week only happened to the inhabitants of Albert Square. Nightmare. I'm with Senna here ... sometimes it's worth remembering that the niggles we have with our motors, that seem important, are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Let's hope that next week's a little kinder to you. Alcohol definitely recommended:) CheerZ, John.- NZR - Kerrang radio!
Whey-hey - sounds good .... I'm a regular channel 454 user, in fact, after a few years in the wilderness with music, the good 'ole Kerrang channel has led to multiple album purchases over the last few months:D :D Love it to bits ... also, I find decent nu-metal soundtrack is ideal for enhancing the 300 driving experience!! CheerZ, John.- FindIt
Now we're talking Z31s, (something I don't know that much about actually), I don't think the UK ones did come with a digi-dash. I'm pretty sure they had your good 'ol dials. I suppose it may have been available as an option. As far as I'm aware, in the US & JP, they were available on certain models of the 280zx too, although proved not too popular!! I know it's personal preference, but what on earth do you like about digi dashs?? I think they're awful - remind me of the Maestro Vandem-Plas that my dad had in 1983:eek:   - and that can't be a good thing .... "Warning - Low Fuel" it used to drone ... I know, I can see the feckin gauge!!!!!!!:D Still - each to their own. CheerZ, John.- FindIt
'Nuff said! Now, where did I put that humble pie??????:p CheerZ, John.- Custom Kickplates i like these
Agreed - really looking forward to getting these bad-boys. Smithy, any ETA on the finished product? Should I add them to my Christmas list:D CheerZ, John. - Right whats best AUTO or Manual
