Spent most of yesterday setting my tracking up at both front and rear. Car was very twitchy before, but now its as solid as a rock. Well worth a few hours with the tracking equipment to sort it out. Back is now 11 minutes toe in (bang in the middle of the tolerance) and front 10 minutes toe in (spec is max 11 mins max). So much better. Now just need a track day to really test it.........................:D :D Nick :cool:

Def had the skirts on, dont know about the rear lamps though, had to make a hasty turn left at that point. Driver had black hair, thats all I can remember of him! Nick :cool:

Just cruising up the main road A586 near Great Eccleston towards my village tonight when I spots a H plate silver 300 with bodykit on! The wife has seen it before but not me, so who is it?? Didnt know anyone on here was so close! Always thoughts duffers was the nearest person with some car taste to me!!! Curious, and curiouser Nick :cool:

I'm a Bridgestone man thru and thru (hav even got Potenzas on my everyday V6 Rover!!) but have just fitted some lovely Proxes on the 300. Not as good aas the old S02 (no longer made) bt better than the S03 according to my tyre man! We shall see! Nick :cool:

Erm, isnt Carrol Shelby a yank and didnt he do most of his testing (in them days) stateside?? I was of the opinion that it was the E-Type that did over the tonne and that was the cause. Them old boys used to get on the M1 and give it some!!!! Nick :cool: Was so gutted when I saw an E-Type roadster that had had a coming together with an old Nova on the M6 last weekend.

Dry weather grip on the S03 isnt a patch on the old S02, but wet weather is supposedly improved, but then S02's werent exactly renowned for being a good wet tyre. Gotta be Toyo Proxes T1-S's. Picked mine up last night and they loook mighty fine. Nick :cool:

As a rule I dont use the main dealer as they are way tooo expensive, and Mike Feeny can beat em every time. But I bought a black key blank from Mike. Took the blank and the original but very worn titanium to the main dealer. For the sum of 5 whole pounds they looked at the titm key, worked out what the sequence was: cut me a key on a micra blank for me to check it worked; then when I confirmed it was OK cut the black key for me. All for only 5 pounds. I was amazed. They couldnt get hold of titm keys though. Nick :cool:

Anyone know what the main differences are for the different insurance write off categories?? I know there is A, B, C and D but dont know what the state of each vehicle should be and what regs apply to each category. Dept of Transport website wasnt any use at all!! All help appreciated.
