  1. So no real views on that one then Nelson! :D :D :D Nick
  2. Errmmmm Jay, What about headlights? That blacked out area at the front is far too low to meet the minimum height requirement for them? Looks like the radical and they are phookin quick too!! Nice one! Nick
  3. Pete, Been talking at cross purposes. Your car will need to have an emissions test cos of its year but it should only need a "None Catalyst (Metered Check)". As PaulC has rightly pointed out this means they check the carbon monoxide (CO) is not more than 3.5% vol and the hydro carbons (HC) are not more than 1200 ppm vol. There is also a visual check to ensure you aint chucking plumes of dirty great crap out the back. Nick
  4. Jeff, What rear spoiler have you got fitted there? It looks mighty fine and has met with the wifes approval so think I might be onto a winner!!!! Nick
  5. Pete, As its a pre 92 car then it wont need to have an emmisions test!!! Just for the record, even if its registered in 92 then check the chassis no and if its manufactured before the cut off date (July I think) then it also doesnt need to have a cat test!! Only found this out cos my everydayer is regd in dec 92 but was made in June 92 so even though it has a cat it dont need to do the test! HTH Nick
  6. LMAO!!!!! Class Nick
  7. syko, I traced the prob to this valve last night. There is a small feed to the valve and whenu release the feed pipe the heat gets throu, so must be something to do with the control of it. Will have it off at the weekend (leaving myself wide open!!) Nick
  8. Whats it showing guys??? Our system wont let me access that website as my security settings are incorrect! Bloody IT police!!!! Nick

  11. Flaps and everything working fine. Car is K plate so 10 years old. I know exactly where the inlet and outlet are and they arent in the easiest place to get to, but if nowt else turns up was gonna give that a go anyway. It aint as bad as the 300 for lack of space in the engine compartment but it aint so roomy!!! Such is the joy of cramming a V6 in there!! Nick
  12. Quick question for all you mechanically minded ones out there. My everyday motor is an 827 V6 rover, sure it wallows in corners but it sees off more modern stuff in a straight line and sounds right too. But the heaters stopped giving me heat. Checked all the usual things, it isnt leaking at the matirx, all the controls are working, plenty of water in the system, but just cant seem to get any heat. Anyone got any useful suggestions as to what it could be??? Cheerz Nick
  13. Why waste money going to main dealers??? Try Mike Feeney at MJP on 01277 374201. He does genuine nissan parts at prices that are better than the main dealer. Nick
  14. Chris, I have just used guy who was brilliant but he was in Blackpool so just a tad far for you to travel!! Nick
  15. He thought he'd get his own back by dialing up his moby all afternoon and leaving it ringing (in the ceiling). This made us laugh even more!!! Must have worked though, cos today he has kept his phone on his bodily person and it hasnt rung once!!! Nick

I tried to insure mine for 3 months whilst it was off the road. Whilst I eventually managed to get storage insurance, companies will only do it for 12 months. Spose the only way is to get a policy you pay for monthly and then cancel it. cos if its a classis policy then you wont get a refund! HTH Nick
  17. Theres this guy in our office who is the most annoying t### there is. He leaves his mobile fone on with the most annoying ring tone and then goes off to meetings. As he runs a DJ co on the side his moby is always going off! So we thought we'd get our own back. We got an old Nokia off our comms team that was knackered, smashed it into pieces and left it in a pile on his desk with a nice little note!! Then the manager hid his proper fone in the ceiling!! To top it all, we set up a hidden video camera to record it! He is going bananas and serves him phookin well right!!!! LMAO!!!! Nick
  18. Think you might find that they're 225/50 16 on the front and 245/45 16 on the rear standard Uk fit. Nick

  24. konrad, I'm in on this too. Spoke to Luke a couple of weeks back, think he was up to about 6 or 7 people around then. Call me dim, but I am working on the assumption that as I have an auto then I dont need the launch control!!! Is this logic right? Nick
  25. LMAO: Class, but whats the identity of the mysterious man! Is it Penry the mild manitored janitor??? Could be!!!!! Nick
