Rod, I have used James Alpes over at Clitheroe as have a few of my mates. They are an accident repair place but have excellent painting facilities. They painted a cobra replica up for me a few years ago and it was so good it was like a mirror. Gotta say though, (and I plan on doing it next year) that PPS seems to be the place to take it, they know 300's and do a damn fine job! Nick :cool:

Some Volks alloys are actually welded even thought they ae 3 piece, as they are notorious for not sealing If you split em you could always reuse the seal and silicone em back together. Not the best job in the world, but would do it. Any problems then just tig weld em along the back to ensure the never leaked again!! Nick :cool:

I've got a Mongoose stainless cat back system with lovely big quad outlets. It is really subtle at low revs with a nice burble, but when you give it some it makes a gorgeous rumble. Well happy with it. Nick :cool:
