I'll say it again, but if you are buying genuine Nissan parts dont go to the main dealer as they'll rip you for big bucks. Get in touch with Mike Feeney, he's int he traders area, and he'll do genuine Nissan parts but at a much cheaper price. And no I aint on commision from him (hmmm starts thinking) but he's a nice bloke and I have used him a lot in the past and will contuniue to do so in the future. Hope thats of some use. Nick :cool:

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw the pics too!

One of the young upstarts at work has a tubby and I gotta say it is quick. Its running 1 bar with a 5" exhaust and it goes like stink. But boy is the back end twitchy. In the dry it squirms but in the wet it snakes all over the place. In a straight line drag on a dry day it'd give the Z a good challenge mainly due to the mass difference, but I'd still rather have a 300 than a hairdressers car :D !! Besides, at least we have a decent sized boot for putting lots of beer in!! Nick :cool:

One of my mates at work lent his LMP Destiny Force Feedback Steering Wheel for his PC to a mate and hes gone and lost the driver disk. Now he wants to install it on his PC which he's just rebuilt. We've done a search over the net but as the unit is quite old we havent found anything. Bit of a long shot, but dont suppose one of you IT types has such info or know where we can re-obtain it! J spec cars only have front fogs and UK cars only have rear so Nissan in their wisdom use the same switch (right hand of dash, top switch) to operate both. You'll need to find someone with a J spec car and see where they've hidden their rear fog switch. Nick :cool:

Pete, They have been known to put speed cameras in vans like this, but usually they use small vans and have the entire doors open. COuld be tax disc dodging detection thing, snapping the reg of the car, cross reffing with DVLA and then if its stolen, not taxed etc, the bibs further down the road can tug you. Just a thought. 72 -75 % on the side windows is the max legally allowed. Alot of people go darker for looks as how can you really tell the difference between 75 and 80%? If you get pulled by the boys in blue they must test the shade there and then with a light meter or else let you off on your way. However if they do test it and its too dark, you must get it sorted within 7 days. Dont do the windscreen, you'll just be asking for trouble. HTH Nick :cool:
