Think Ive got the manual covered now. Found a superb land rover forum and they are very helpful. Spookily enough it might be up for sale in the new year as I think my old fella wants to down size. He's even talked about buying a Z!!! Nick :cool:

Came across this over on the land rover forum. Its apparently for diagnosing problems on those wonderful solihull machines, but the downloads are free. Doesnt mean a great deal to me being an engineer and not too electircally minded, so thought you genius eletrickery wizards might know if its of any use. (But Nick, we still need the special adaptor to connect it into the car with, and you know they are soooo expensive)!! Nick :cool:

Right guys, need a bit of your electrickery help. I am after an electronic manual for a 1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE, a similar manual to what we have on line/ on CD for the 300. I know they exist as the maindealer wants 60 quid plus the vat for one!! Anyone work at a dealers, know someone etc.. I need to take the centre console out of my old fellas as the heating is only working at the windscreen and my feet are feckin freezin in the thing! But bugger me, it aint as easy as working on the 300, everything is hidden and I dont want to push or pull too much in case I break something as it'll be expensive to repair. Failing gettin a manual anyone seen a decent website like this but for range rovers as there are some out there but they dont appear to have the necessary forums on them. I know its a long shot but you guys are soooo good!!! Nick :cool:

Nice one Pete, congratulations! Dont be gettin rid of the 300 though, I got shut of my 260Z and bought my 300 when my little lad was born. Great move. Bit tight on gettin everything in, pram, baby bag etc, but it all goes and its worth keepin it!! Great news though!! Nick :cool:

Use my trusty old V6 Rover till Christmas then thats going off the road to be breathed upon to add a further 50 bhp to it! Havin driven the Z so much 167bhp in the ROver just aint enough for a daily driver so need more power!! These Z's are a real bad influence!!! :D :D Nick :cool:
