  1. I had the same issues with my classic policy when I sold my 260Z and bought my 300. The policy was only 3 months old as well. So seems to be the norm amongst insurances robbers, sorry, meant companies! Nick

  4. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29755&item=2482673733&rd=1 Different! Nick
  5. I'm sure i remember them being on either 5th gear or the old Top Gear some time ago and were shown to be a waste of space.
  6. Uk ones will be the same softness in normal every day running. Its only when you pull the handbrake up a notch that it invokes the hard ride through the actuator, so nine times outta ten the ride will be the same. I have import shocks on my UK car, cos they are a damn site cheaper. Would put some nice Tokiko ajustables or some Konis on there next time, if I have the money! Nick
  7. Stuarts your man for these. Think he has a sticky thread some where!!
  8. Dave, I have seen that one before round there too, think its a J plate so aint Tomo (alright mate, u been in work recently as aint seen your motor in the car park?) and it has a standard spoiler but some nice wheels. Nick
  9. Whilst footy is crap and just not my cup of tea, whats more annoying is cutting short the Grand Prix and not showing the champers spraying or interviews to go to the footy studio and have them discuss the match for half an hour before kick off!!! That aint cricket! Nick

Matty, If you know what you want try a Sign shop. My mate runs one and will do anything you want if you know the size. They can call up logos and do them, scan stuff in, theres no end to what can be done in plastic. If youre sturggling for a shop then let me know as I'm sure my mate will do mail order. Nick  PS Sure someone was doing the 300zx.co.uk stickers, but who was it????? Wouldnt they be able to knock a few out?? Have you tried James300 as he has em on his!!??
  11. Cos, Storage insurance costs me £70 a year.. Covered then for fire and theft, even part theft like nicking your wheels. Gotta be worth it for that. Must say though, in all the years I spent running a race team we never insured any of our cars whilst in storage. Nick
  12. Knew this thread was ere somewhere. Had my UK car up on the ramps at the weekend and my auto defo has a drain plug for the box fitted. Nick

  17. Cos, Nice! Poor old smithy landed at the hotel at some ungodly 2 am ish type hour. Put it this way, I went to bed and when I woke up his black machine was in the car park. Still he looked fresh as a daisy all day Satday!!! Nick

  19. I am after some info from one of you kind souls about some Monroe shockers. If you work in a motor factors type accesory shop and have a monroe catalogue to hand could you look up part numbers MON R3789 and MON 11601. They are front and rear shockers for a 92 Rover 827. I need to establish what product range they are from and am struggling to get to my normal shop. Reason is, I fitted some shockers less than 2 years ago to my everyday wokhorse Rover and the rears have started leaking. Looked on the monroe website and for certain ranges they have a lifetime warranty, so am trying to see if I qualify. Bit of a tall order I know but you never know............ Thanks Nick
  20. Matty, Leave it til the week before then try them again. I phoned the Travel Lodge about half a mile down the road from Billing on the Tuesday night before the show to book a room to stay over the Friday night only no problem. HTH Nick

  23. Why not remove the whole window with the sticker on then any theiving scum will never know if the radios coded or not!! ;) Nick
  24. Just been emailed this link by a mate off the MR2 forum. It posts to the skyline board but has implications for anyone importing a jap car. http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8055 Oh dear. Nick
