Owners handbook you mean? Just got a copy for mine from Mike, 10 quid region. They are a genuine Nissan reprint not an original with the blue front, but they tell you the same stuff. Except if u have a series II like moi, then its tuff!!! Nick :cool:

Stuart, Is it a split rim? If not then the tyre is not set right on the rim. Can only suggest u take it back to where they fitted em and get em to remove and refit the tyre with plenty of paste!! HTH Nick :cool:

I am planning on removing the drivers seat this weekend. Seems simple enough, 4 bolts out it comes. However, looked in the manual and its on about removing the seat from the runners!! Whats that all about then??? Anyone taken the seat out recently and can advise!! Oh, its a series II car with eletric heated seats. Thanks Nick :cool:

Just been watching some old Revved Up programmes (Granada TV 11.30 on a friday night) from back in January. They went to a cruise somewhere up here and filmed it. Was full of the usual turkey cars and fords and stuf but then a yellow 300 drives past with a blue illuminated rear panel. Was it anyone of here?? Just being curious! Nick :cool:

Phil, Tis dead easy. Had some keys cut recently and heres how I did it. Bought my self a spare black key blank from Mike Feeney. Took my original but very worn titanium key to the main dealer (god cant belive I am suggesting going to a main dealer!!). They looked at the key and worked out the ky code for it. They then cut a standard Nissan key for me for a mere five pounds, which I took home and tried. Worked a treat. Took the lovely 300zx black blank back the following day and they cut that for nowt!!! It was all done on a little hand held machine, and apparently any main dealer can do it and they can do import keys as well!!!! HTH Nick :cool:

Nice one. Make sure you check out the gear change mechanism on the right hand change. Certainly on the GTD kit it was a real complicated thing that was forever breaking when you were going for first or reverse. Dont know what its like on other kits but just something to note! Jay, Me and my old fella built a GT Developments GT40 replica some years ago. We managed to obtain an original 302 Boss engine from an original GT40 and rebuilt it and slapped that it (had 351 Windsor heads, X-bolted main crank etc...). It was awesome. Only ever needed 3rd gear to go anywhere. And as for overtaking, it was awesome!!! Which kit are you buying? Is it a fully built on or ar eyou gonna put it together yourself? Nick :cool:

Where abouts is the lock number stamped on the lock barrels? I have taken the door lock out and removed the barrel but theres nowt there! Is it cunningly hidden? Do they only stamp the lock no on the lock for the boot? I have a nice new blank key and I'd rather try and get it cut from the computer (using the lock no) rather than matching it to the rather worn titanium key. Any advice appreciated. Nick :cool:
