Interior & Exterior Colours
I am now in possession of my new Z!!! Rah rah rah, only took 6 months to buy it!!! After a week in Jeffs for a service its now home in the garage for some serious TLC. However I cant decide what colour the leather interior is. The cars a UK Series II but the leather looks grey in some lights and black in others. Were there different colour options or just one? Oh and whilst on colours, wheres the exterior paint code located?? The car is red (the best colour for sports cars!!) but did Nissan specify more than 1 colour red for the 300?? Dumb questions but there you go!!! Or do we have a version of this for UK cars??? http://www.ttzd.com/tech/colors/colors.html Nick :cool:http://www.ttzd.com/tech/colors/colors.html

Other way of doing it is to have a number of various packages open ie tinternet, word, lotus notes etc, in smaller screens on you're main screen. With careful positioning you just move your mouse to one side and click thus bringing up that report you are busy writing for the boss and he doesnt see that you're logged on here chattin!!! No mysterious arm reach for ALT-Tab required either! Nick PS bugger here he comes now!

A New Man in my Life
STRUTH that was a big un!! Our Christmas turkey wasnt much more than that! One of the lads in the Z clubs' missus had a 10lb last year, c-sect though lucky for her. Took my little lad nearly 12 weeks to grow to that weight!! Congrats though, its the best thing you'll ever do (until you do it again, and again and.....) but now you really will wonder what you used to do with your time!!!! Nick:D

Andy, Which RR do you use? One somewhere round our neck of the woods? I have always used GRV over at Oldham for all my race cars and the 240 and 260. Nick

Zedworld any good
Just dropped my motor off there this very afternoon for a load of work to be done on it. Jeff came and inspected the car for me a few weeks back, did an honest appraisal of it and told me exactly what needed doing and the cost to do it. He's a throughly nice bloke and sooo helpful too. Nick

WANTED: Centre console cover & Floor Mats
So come on then, who has a decent set of floor mats for sale and how much are you after for them? Also, as well as some t##t nicking me mats, they also robbed the leather covered centre console and replaced it with a cloth one!! That was nice of them!!! So anyone got a leather covered one they want to sell? If so how much? Do you want the cloth one and cash adjustment? Over to you guys.......................... Nick

Remind you of anything?
That front end is a clone of the front of the Toyota 2000 GT from the late sixties!!! Another motor designed by Albrecht Goertz who shaped the design of the original 240Z. Good man!! Nick

Storage Insurance?????
Anyone actually taken out any storage insurance for their 300?? Anyone knows which insurance companies offer it??? Reason for asking is, I am hopefully, fingers crossed, collecting my first Z on Thursday (small dance of celebration as its taken nearly 6 months to get it!!!). It needs some work doing so is off to the workshop. Once mechanically sorted it'll come home whilst I sort out some bodywork mods and get it painted. So I dont really want to lash out on full blown cover when I aint gonna be driving it for a few months. Besides, it doesnt have an alarm or immobiliser fitted at the moment so I'll end up with a crap quote anyway, hence the storage insurance idea. Any useful ideas gratefully received. Nick

Say hi to the new guy
wedge, You could always try Jeff at Zedworld (zedworld.co.uk). He does everything for z's including vehicle inspections for people and inspected the car that I am hopefully collecting this coming week!!! First class service and a nice bloke despite what some people think of him on here. Whilst he is in Tamworth it aint that far to you. Just a thought, oh and welcome! Nick
