I collected my Zed yesterday afternoon - and have to say what a great job Jim has done...
The new loom and injectors have transformed the car, the engine runs so much smoother and feels more responsive. I needn't have worried about the suspension, it looks lower in the photos than it actually is. It's still on the low side, but Jim has set everything up well - not too harsh, but it also handles just nicely. The steering wheel is dead straight, after Jim replaced the rack bushes and track rod ends and performed a laser alignment - something the usual tyre places often fail to get right.
Suffice to say, I enjoyed the 100 mile drive home - definitely well worth the trip.
Thanks Jim🤩

The guy who was selling the Zed that I went to see the other day phoned me to ask if I wanted to P/X my VTS for his Zed.
I took my VTS to him tonight, he said he'll accept my VTS (minus personal plate and ICE) and £800 cash.
He'll tax the Z for a year and service it on monday, he'll also fix the two minor probs with the car.
I'm thinking of offering him £500 cash and my car to see what he says.
It's a UK white L-reg, auto, 97,000 miles, with all service history even oil changes and a receipt for a timing chain at 90,000 miles.
MOT till Jan04 and Tax till Feb04.
Leather interior and it looks pretty immaculate.
I'm going to have a look and drive on Tuesday during the day to see what I think.
I reckon £500-£800 cash and my VTS is pretty good.
The ZX is valued at over £7000 on Parkers :D
I will check with him beforehand, but is there anyone on here from Bristol that wouldn't mind meeting up on Tues morning to check the Zed over?
I know plenty about Saxos, but next to nothing about zeds, I really don't want to buy a turkey :D
