  1. Andy, the bay is looking fantastic, bet you are well chuffed. Where did you get the chrome done on the balance bar. As i have a box of stuff i want to chrome, is it local to you?
  2. Yep this isnt the usual 'my targa is leaking', more of a where does the targa pipe discharge? Passenger side, to the rear of the targa roof, is a drain hole, that should be attached to the pipe and drain to below the sill. My rear passenger footwell is showing slight water. have checked all the targa rubbers, and all is good. the top of the hole is clear, but i cant work out where the pipe should discharge under the sill, i know it follows the pillar behind the card in line with the seat belt. I think its either blocked further down or perished somewhere between the targa and the sill, Is it one piece of tubing or two? and where should it come out.

  6. Good to hear they are about Jason, On the sussex coast, there are a few codling at the mo, on the highs at night, but still a few bass and huss on days. After these storms it will be much better. Ive just got back from 2 weeks in Mexico,, the fishing is awesome, but hooking into a 250KG+ grouper is insane. It was like playing a 3 seater sofa for an hour, only to get it 30ft under the boat for it to straighten an 10/0 like a tooth pick. So i naturally blamed the rod......
  7. Dont know where about you are in London, but we have done a few meets at Surrey rolling road, near Virginia Water in Surrey. Charlie the owner really knows his stuff and is very carefull with our zeds. Have a look at South east/central meets under Surrey rolling road. Stu
  8. He has already gained some extra width on his garden, by not sorting his crappy fence out. I would give advice that im going to use the area next to his shed as a bonfire space, fook it you may loose a fence section but he will loose a shed. Option 2. Wait till he goes away for a couple of weeks in the summer, if he has a carpeted hallway, put a hosepipe through letterbox and wet the floor, then get a leafblower and fill it with watercress seeds, and shoot them into the hallway. When he gets back, he wont be worried about the shed that is destroyed by your bonfire, just how is he going to use all that watercress that is now in full bloom in his house. :duffer:
  9. Mine is spot on, gets used and abused every day
  10. From your previous pics it looked bad, but nothing on these, how did that whack out???, something has come loose or got bent to throw that out.............That much........
  11. Is that the red zed i met in Bognor???????
  12. Yep thats it. it still has the wheels on. Truly stunning zed, Looks like its good a good owner, he had a big collection of 240/260/280z's, but loves this one......... Will try and get some pics........
  13. Met the new owner today in Bognor, ive spotted the car twice and i know Mental and Marv300 have too. Had a good chat with Dave, the condition of the UK zed is first class, has a 99 spec front and possibly the cleanest leather seats i have ever seen. Its had loads done to it and is truly exceptional, i cant believe the price he got it for. It does have a 300zx.co.uk sticker on it, and he has a club keyring, gave him lots of advice, and he will hopefully be joining on here. Anyone know who had it before???????
  14. Yup knackerd O2's, mine dosent smoke, but the tips are full of black crud. and both mine are dead............:mac1:
  15. Good find mate, lots of detail and help...........
  16. I have to agree, This is one song me and my zed love, nothing better than a run out across country, tops off and going quick with this blasting out.... Makes the zed possessed. Bach in D Minor
  17. Andy, i think it looks superb. Ive got a spare complete scuttle panel, now on my to do list. Good man
  18. Yep det sensor, do an ecu check, should show up. Either fit new one, plenium off im affraid, or bypass with a 1megaohm resistor. If you need a new connector, go to a scrapyard and find a similar age micra, the sub fan has exactly same connector. Put in your pocket, plus loads of other connectors, go to gate and pay for one. Mine cost me a quid.............. EDIT....In no way do i agree with this type of shopping....
  19. Im not a footie bloke, but this is insane, Christ, what do you have to do be lucky............ http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/19102009/58/la-liga-ronaldo-set-billionaire-status.html
  20. When Marv came over to mine, it would drive ok ish, bit groggy and boost would not go into positive or past zero, after checking a few bits i noticed the sensor had the green corrosion and clearly had given up. a few minutes cleaning with a small file, and it fixed the issue. The ecu sees a problem and to prevent possible damge it will put it into safety mode, After he drove off, it was very clear it had worked. ECU still gave error code 13, but this will be removed hopefully after a reset of the ecu.
  21. If all other rads are hot, but your sons is cold. 1. Make sure both valves are fully open and rad is bled. 2. on all other rads if fitted with TRV's (thermostatic rad valves) tunrn down to o or lowest it will go. this will force heating to the rad not working. 3. Half way through firing up boiler, turn it off completely to stop pump. leave for a couple of mins. 4. If you dont have a combi, ie a hot water cylinder, there will be a bleed valve hopefully on the system, usually near the cylinder, any ait may be trapped here. will pm you my number and i can talk you through it. stu
  22. Gaz, i am lucky enough to have my spare zed on driveway, without its gearbox, i can get underneath tomorrow morning and measure for you. Its a TT auto, if it makes a difference. Stu
  23. Happy days, after a good clean of the temp sensor, marv just left mine and boosted up the road. Thanks all.
  24. Im trying to help out Marv 300, manual TT. Starts fine, but boost will not go past zero, have checked pipes and all appear good. Ecu comes up with error code 13. Temp sensor. If this is shagged would it cause no boost or what else to look at??????
