welcome mate, enjoy yourself. when you get your zed, dont do what some do, by lauching it to full pelt and stacking it. Get used to driving it and learn how they react very quickly, whether a non turbo or twin turbo they will bite you in the arse and are a different animal in the wet.

looks good as a base to start with, a bit of tlc and it will be great.

go to any tv spares shop and get a 1megaohm resistor, i picked up 5 for 50p. I have sent these onto other members, but if you get stuck i have a place very near me.

Get a phone call just now from some asian guy stating he was from Microsoft and that there was a problem on my pc that was causing microsoft issues on their server, and could he talk to me on how to resolve it. WTF. Instantly i started calm, but it soon progressed quite quickly. After he said " your internet provider has given us your details" 1. Im ex directory, and have caller id, but it showed as unavailible, and when questioned him which was my broadband company, just got a load of bowlocks about other stuff. Trying to get away from the questioning. But could not tell me the company im with. 2. I said if my system was causing Microsoft so many issues, surely they are big enough and have more that enough software to sort it out. 3. Then he gives me a load of twaddle, stating that my pc and broadband, must be causing interference with the phone line, and can hardly hear me. 4. Again, i now up the anti, i say "tell me, how the hell did you get my phone number, and who does it show, does my internet. Give me a direct number to you that i can prove that you work for microsoft and where are"???? A few more lines, about the connection, and the problems its causing. but would not give any details. Eventually i got him to give me a phone number. 893 273 2736???? On my request after i repeated it back to him" 893 273 2736, where on this planet is that then?, what part of this f***ing huge planet are you from ???? Silence for a while, then i get" Sorry as i said your pc must be causing the phone line problem................ "SO where does it show i am then?" A couple of sconds go by.............................."somewhere in Europe" " No, im not in Europe, im in Fook OFF"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How the hell do the pricks get peoples numbers, im not that niave, but just fear for others who will be led in.......... Get loads of emails from god knows where that ive been left a large sum of money, from a distant relative who used to hunt wild animals in Africa, but never been phoned. Well ive got 2, and know of about 10 within a 5 miles of me. Thats just in Sussex. A few in Hampshire, and the dorest lads. There is a few more than 2 on the south coast....

Tank, if thats the zed you have been offered for £250, then i would grab it quick. Even for parts alone, a set of UK spec clocks will get you £100. again if it has leather interior, which most uk's did, then it can be swapped into yours no problem. Will call you.

What you want to do now Alan, is some copper pipe work, get those cuts sorted with a bit of flux, jobs a goodun........................... It will take away the sting from the glass at least..........

get a small pot of rapid set cement, mix up a small bit at a time for as enough as you need, it goes off very quickly. can repair the cracks no probs. Repair now, and use it tonight........

Saw the postcode, at first thought it was z centre, but doing a google maps its 6.1 miles away. Maybe its a secret zed hideaway, like area 51. Just not the kind of place to find at least 2 zeds in an alleyway. Cool find.
