  13. Daz, if you right click on the song, then get info, you can change the name, artist, genre album etc. Also if you then click on artwork, you can delete the video file but keep the audio. saves space on your ipod. When you get used to it, i will give you a link to a convertor program to copy music from youtube.
  14. I recently ditched my high level spoiler for a fibreglass 89 spec, after preping and spraying it was ready. I had filled and sorted the boot. After searching on here for the best product to use, i managed to get some tiger seal from a local stockist. I use loads of silcones in my job, even though the tiger seal has been stored very cool, it works better when left in the sun for an hour, easier to use with the gun. I marked the edge area of where the spoiler would meet the boot, with masking tape, this is to prevent it going over new paint and having the agro of getting it off. Apply a bead of about 5mm wide along the flat side of the spoiler, about 5mm from edge. Just a case of placing the spoiler where it should go and press it down, the bead then pushes out past the edge onto the masking tape, smooth it off with some spit and your finger, then remove the masking tape. You get a very neat tidy joint. i used 3 adjustable clamps to hold it in place. After about an hour it is stuck solid and cured. Fully waterproof First time ive used the stuff and cant recommend it enough. its bloody great. Looks like the spoiler was factory fitted. I only paid £9.25 for a tube, on ebay it is up for nearly £13. I have nearly 3/4 of a tube left, It must have loads of different applications, will keep ho;d of it until i get my new skirts. 10 out of 10. Stu :thumbup1:
  15. After having 2 zeds for a while i want to compile a basic list of regular checks that us as owners should be doing to help maintain and keep out cars alive. other than the usual checks such as oil, water, lights etc, what else should be checked in order to keep the car as good as can be. couple of ideas i have so far. 1. Targa drain tubes, check at least once a month, to ensure the pipe is clear and draining away. As nissan decided to join two bits of pipe with a metal insert. if it gets blocked over time, the insert then rusts away, thus emptying water into the bodywork, causing sill damage. 2. wind deflectors. check every 2-3 months. just a bit of silicone spray will keep them working properly. 3. trim rubber, all windows, targas, windscreen, tops of doors. Need to be kept in good condition. ive found silicone spray or peanut oil, keeps them supple and staying dark. 4. jubilee clips, connectors, nuts and bolts in engine. Any time you are checking the engine, just check condition, and tightness of any of these, this will maintain boost and or prevent boost/ vacuum leaks 5. electical connectors. coil packs, injectors, maf, ptu etc. Ensure the blade connectors are good condition, that the copper connectors are cleaned with a small file, clean with a contact cleaner and are tight where they should be. 6. hinges, doors, boot, bonnet. keep clean and lubricated. I know we all try to maintain our cars as best as we can, but with just small regular maintenance, should keep things in a better state, before it gets to the point of replacing or having problems. Any other little things will assist in me helping us all. stu
  16. Good to see you back Daz. Im of to crete in an couple of weeks, should be nice and hot, not quite the temps you had, but not far off. You havent missed much. Other than the usual bunfights.
  17. Transits are built to last. Ive got a new one,(works van) lwb tipper. 350 turbo. electric everything, even has blue tooth and air con. not the quickest, but with a pallet of bricks and loads of scaffold on, has no probs. plus its great for clearing houses. fill it up and take to the skip place, tip it all out. Plus people get out of your way..........
  18. if thats what you get from being a veggie and not drinking. Glad im drinking a few stellas, and having a nice lamb madras.... Looks really hot, not in that way, but like on fire hot, hope the med's kick in soon bud, remember it takes 24hrs to start knocking it on the head. But take pain killers to ease. :scared:
  19. Happy Birthday mate, enjoy yourself.
  20. I've acquired a brand new fibreglass 89 spec spoiler from a member. after rubbing down with wet and dry, done 3 coats of primer, wet n dry between each coat, now had 3 coats of KH3 Nissan black, again with wet n dry between. shine looks fantastic. My question is. Is it better to polish to a super shine then lacquer with say 2 coats. or laquer then polish the hell out of it. I want it to last the way it looks now.
  21. Ive met the guy in Brighton, really nice as they come. Down to earth and has no problems chatting to folks. My girlfriend and mates went to see him at a Brighton concert, during the interval he was walking around the bar, doing pics and autographs. But his ex other half is a different kettle of fish. Dosent want the attention, will refuse to see fans, but always wants to know where a camera is, so she can get a picture in that she dosent want. Hats of to peter, does the right thing being a dad, and trys not to get caught up in the media shambles
  22. Its for the flux capacitor....Only certain zeds were produced with it..... What happens you you turn it it, with engine running. if its not rear fogs, maybe a kill switch to prevent any theft......
  23. Ive had a TT auto jap, but still have a UK TT Manual. By far the better of the two. I have driven a mates ( and member on here ) na, but the TT wins it for me. Yep a bit more to maintain, but for the smile factor worth every penny. get one that has been well looked after and maintained regularly. Manual for driving fun, but whack some turbo s on it, it will make you smile each time you use it. But i am biased..........
