Don't know where you get your forecast Si, the tele says it will be cloudy but dry, maybe sunny later in the day. WeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!:nana2::dance:

The forecast I saw last night was more promising, it said "cloudy with possible showers"............what the hell do they know anyway?

I've got a brand new unused 'Hawk HA-101' professional Thatcham Approved CAT 1 (Issue 2) Car Alarm which I bought with the intention of fitting it myself but eventually had a Toad fitted for me. You can have it for £100.........it includes internal ultrasonic sensors to protect the vehicles interior. There are several members on here who would fit it for you, or you could DIY!

It WONT work with series 4! They are electrically AND physically VERY different from earlier series. I know..............I've tried it!:cry:

Well, enough of you warned me and I've not been exactly overwhelmed by the response to the last post (that's an appropriate two words). As I said in an earlier post "I realise it's one thing to have a 'good' idea and another to bring it to fruition" and those words have proved to be prophetic. I think it's a shame and I am still convinced it could have worked, but without members support it has obviously been doomed to failure. I thank those who gave verbal support to this thread and also those who gave their considered opinions against. The nett result, however, is there will be no 'Tech. Day/Weekend'. Would some kind mod please close this thread and put it to rest. Cheers - Dave.

Turned out a pretty good day after all............the weather was a bit wet to start with but soon dried up and the sun actually came out later on. The location would have been ideal..........if it had been dry, but although it was a bit 'mucky' underfoot at least none of us managed to get stuck in the mud. It was great meeting some old buddies and meeting some new ones (new to me that is). Here's a few piccies to feast your eyes on:-

When I originally started this thread 5/6 weeks ago, there was moderate interest so I am now re-posting to find out the names of those who would still like to attend. The 'gate' charges are £12 adult, £5 child, £8 senior citizen (£10,£4,£7 if we buy them in advance). But if we were to have a CLUB STAND(minimum 10 cars) it would cost only £5 per car which includes two admission tickets. I know this thread is about the Zed image on the bag, but just to let you know they do a kit in Lidl with the same contents for £3.99 (No Zed picture though). PS - I hope you all carry a first aid kit of some sort in your Zed.

You are absolutely correct!:dance: There is no fuse in the 'audio2' position in my fuse box so, I counted three along which was the rear wiper 10A fuse:slap: Now corrected my stupid error, replaced the BLOWN fuse, and IT'S ALL WORKING WELL. Many thanks to all of you...this advice alone is worth more than my subscription! (I can't find a smilie for a big kiss, but perhaps that's just as well:rofl:)

Nope....that 10A fuse is OK! Symptoms Hi-beam working whether dip switch up or down. Dip beam not working Front fog lights not working. Reversing light OK Indicator lights OK (including white lights) Interior light OK Remember my Zed is a 1995 Import! (BTW couldn't they find a more inaccessible place to put the fuses:rofl:)

All my lights have packed up, except for the hi-beam mains!!!:headvswal Ive tried to check the fuses under the bonnet but they're big boxy things, not the car fuses I'm used to.:confused: Anyone got any ideas???:bow:
