INstalling 94+ Instrument clusters in a 89 model
I don't fancy your chances too highly. I have a similar 'challenge' but in reverse. I have a 1995 (series 4) with Jap clocks and have been trying to fit replacement but the earlier versions are TOTALLY different, both mechanically and electrically. I obtained wiring diagrams for both and its impossible to convert them due to many differences such as airbags etc. I looked at many alternative ways to do the conversion but finally gave up.

Streering rack gaiters
What he says! My Zed failed MoT for the same reason and I did what he said!

survival tip for the day...
If you are walking through an area that is likely to have wild lions, or any other large wild animal for that matter, make sure that you take a companion with you that cannot run very fast............do I have to say more?:rofl:

Septembers meet
I'd prefer a coastal meet as I don't get too many opportunities to be at the seaside:) (Would also be better for Scotty?) But anywhere in the SC area would suit me fine.

How much will our road tax be next year?
But of course:bow::o...........but just to be sure, I've found the details on "theaa.com" web site and it confirms that pre-2001 cars are not affected.:D

How much will our road tax be next year?
I've looked at a few web sites and none of them mention that the new rates only apply to post 2001! What website will give me ALL the correct information?

How much will our road tax be next year?
Are you sure about this? If so how will our Zeds be taxed?

How much will our road tax be next year?
Does anyone know what road tax we will be paying next year? It's going to be based on CO2 emissions and will be up to £440 per year! What are the emission figures for an N/A and a TT?

- Paintball contest between regions !
It's not really my scene, Paul...........at 69 I can't run around any more like I used to. You are getting interest from other regions though, so I'm sure you'll have a great day.- Paintball contest between regions !
I agree..........When are you coming back, Athene?- Chrome led windscreen washers
The wipers are alloy actually, not chrome, but I agree they don't look too brilliant on the dark coloured Zed...........although they look pretty cool on my silver Zed. The arms need to be painted silver to match the blades, that would make them look much better (IMHO).- All Parents, give your kids a hug, no matter what they arent this evil

The guy in the first photo looks like me and he's just swapped the lambo for an icecream........he's got a good deal I reckon:rofl::rofl::rofl:- Water injection.
Don't know if it's relevant but, when I was a youngster (that's more than a few years ago) we were told that introducing water into the carburettor intake would run the engine cooler with less carbon build-up and also increase fuel consumption. We would use a wick submerged in a can of water and then fitted between the air filter and the carburettor intake. I'm not really sure whether it did what was claimed or not, but it was quite a popular mod at the time (late 1950's)- Nearside front steering rack gaiter needed!
Even better, I managed to get discount and only had to pay £12.57 - they are being fitted Wednesday morning by same garage that did the MoT so I should be okey-dokey by lunchtime. Thanks everyone for your help (freely given as usual.......what a great club this is). - Paintball contest between regions !
