  1. Found them, injectors still in rails as they were when I got them, cant find the old standard ones, think I have chucked them. :-)
  2. Sold to me as Nismo, from someone on here. Sold as perfect, so being stupid I fitted them, and then the troubles started. Car went from being perfect to running on 4. Got well and truly fed up (after some weeks of trying to figure things out). So, I bought a set of new 555 Nismos, when they eventually arrived (another story) paid someonme to fit them for me. I just didnt want to have more messing about, also, other firms wanted loads more money to test etc. If I knew of Scholar before I would have used them and gone from there as a tested injector is fine. TBH they may well be perfect with a clean.
  3. Just emailed Scholar, they want £9.50 per injector to test/service and clean. Bargain
  4. I think it is far more usefull, and important, for the police to spend their time on things like this rather than yobs vandalising property, proper dangeours driving, no insurance, no licence etc etc etc etc etc etc.
  5. SWB on 19". 8.5 front, 9.5 rears. 235 and 265. And the ride is fine too. Sorry no pics. !9's are the only way to go.
  6. Ring me if you like, 07968 748889. :-)
  7. Yes, they are the ones. Hence my "not expensive" comment. So they MUST be tested before you fit them. There is a bit of a story, as you can see if you do a search. I think 5 are OK, I did think two were suspect but I had one poor connection that I found when I fitted the new 555's, but one was def suspect. Let me know after you have read the thread. I will not try and con anyone..
  8. I have some 555 injectors for sale. Not expensive.
  9. Does anyone have a link or number for scholar (injector recon) please/thanks
  10. Trade Plates, they only mean the car does not have to have road tax, AFAIK, and not just anyone can use them. You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make them drink.
  11. OK, here we go. This is the best car for sale anywhere in the country at the moment, BUY IT now. There you go, is that what you wanted to hear? Lol. No offence but how many times do you want to ask the same question?
  12. Well, I have a red, swb, TT, manual, targa, single exit pipe, JD chip, 555 injectors, boost controller, Firdanza flywheel, apexi, 19" alloys etc. Might sell it. Might not.......
  13. Regardless of all of the above I still think this car needs to be really cheap as it sounds like a big headache, and when a car has as many faults as this one (that you know of), there are almost always loads more just waiting to come out later. Stay away, buy from on here. Or buy a nice one at least. You CAN NOT BEAT buying the best you can find/afford.
  14. And consider just how much you really need "The Best" tyre out there, if you drive really hard, fair enough, but if you only cruise, then cheaper tyres may do. Dont get stuck in having to have the best "Name" fro nothing. That said, I find Falken 452 are pretty good too. Probably give the big names a run for their money at a lot less cash..
  15. The other view is, my son started with a tuned S13 at 17, 250+ bhp, moved to a tuned R33gtr (11.6 quarter mile at the pod) at 18. He is now 21 and out drives me, he has never had an serious accident. Touch Wood. So maybe you will be OK.
  16. Sometimes you have to face the obvious (from here it is anyway). If you had any idea how a tourque converter (TC) works you would not have wasted your time. No disrespect meant. :-) If you carry on trying to "repair" what you got you will throw even more good money after bad, it sems to me. But good luck anyway.
  17. Car sounds like a future headache to me. :-). And no way worth what he was asking at first.
  18. I have had real probs with some older Renaults. I stick the hose pipe in the top of the rad and let it push the air out, always works. Of course you then need to address the antifreeze issue. Never had such a prob on a Z though.
  19. Redline Heavy Shock, or medium or even light. Fantastic stuff
  20. Many of us get in trouble one way or another in this life. How we deal with it is sometimes more important than the reason we got in trouble in the first place. My position is now closed....
  21. Apart from my one and only input to this thread I have tried to keep out of it. However, Paul messed me about for weeks, five if I remember, even though I had paid upfront for the goods. But, they even when they arrived they were short of some seals, no big deal, but I have several messages promising that things would be made good. That was months ago. So, as I said the money side is no big deal, but as a matter of principle I find myself objecting to Pauls last and only post. It is Paul who is at fault here, and to try and move some of that blame as he appears to be doing is wrong.
