  1. I have heard that Mini Cooper S cats flow well.
  2. Sounds like blocked filter to me too, when you leave the car off for a while the rubbish falls off the filter allowing it to pass oil for a while until it blocks again. Trouble is the reason there is crap in there is because the box is on its last legs, probably.
  3. JD will talk to you about what your looking for too, I think he will anyway, and then you get the right one for you. Just noticed 1500 posts too. Wheres my badge then?
  4. And for the cost of a new chip, its just not worth the risk.
  5. Mcgard is the only way to go, strongest and if you loose the key they send a new one.
  6. One place is Ebay, but do a search for turbo rebuild kits. Buying them is one thing, fitting and then balancing (some disagree) the turbo is another.
  7. You have hit the nail on the head. Performance parts are way too expensive over here, its good old Rip OFF Britain. And yet people still pay the prices, and others still keep telling us how good the value is.
  8. I have trade insurance but I want to move to another company next time, who are you guys using?
  9. But if thats the case you had better always have the same amount of fuel in the car, ie fill up every 20 miles or so, never put on weight yourself etc etc. Otherwise your settings will be, as you put it, worthless. ???????
  10. SWZ a trader here does Southbend I think.
  11. ge·om·e·try /dʒiˈɒmɪtri/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[jee-om-i-tree] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun, plural ‑tries. 1. the branch of mathematics that deals with the deduction of the properties, measurement, and relationships of points, lines, angles, and figures in space from their defining conditions by means of certain assumed properties of space. So, my question, how can a car suspension have NO GEOMETRY????? Not sure if you are talking sense or not. :-)
  12. I took mine to an ATS place, (I know them otherwise I would have been more carefull) thay have a fully computerised set up that allows them to input wheel size, mine are 19", and then when the various parts are correctly set the computer flashes green. So most of the human error is removed.
  13. I can help with a second hand water pump, it has only been used for 6000 kilometers so is like new. £25.00 + p&p
  14. I am not familiar with this area at all, but could an uprated regulator give a bit more pressure and so lessen the effect on number 6?
  15. Could be, I dont want to give him a hard time if I was unlucky, but, I have been sold goods that are A) not much good B) poorly described and C) items not sent. He has however said he will pay for the O rings he never sent, so one thing maybe resolved.
  16. That could work, but if the guy had not sold much for a while it might take a long time to actually find his last post. But anything is better than nothing. Another thing, if that was started would it mean that nothing better was done? I think now that the ball is rolling again we should keep it so until we have a system.
  17. Yes it will take time, but the sooner we start the better. And yes it does need to be Modded well. But if someone has sold faulty goods, a polite and factual comment by the purchaser should be OK. Maybe the comments should be restricted to; Very Good. Good Not so Good. But sorted Poor. Need refund/goods never arrived. And not allow anything more, might stop the slagging match.
  18. Please see my other post, "For the Attn of Mark, keep on zedding". Even if you have allready read it I have added to it. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=100564 PLEASE....
  19. Mark has now made contact after I text him, and in the interests of me being as fair as possible I as asking for others on here to give me an idea of what this person is like. For example, if a good number of members all say he is OK then maybe I was just unlucky, but if others also have had a bad deal with him I will take my issues further with him. As I said, I am trying to be fair.
  20. There must be something we can do. What about a sticky where all names are listed alphabetically and we simply add comments to the name. Good and Bad. And as Martinx said, this topic has been kicking around for ages. I am very reluctant to buy off here at the moment.
  21. Is there anywhere we can leave some feedback on members? I am getting fed up with buying stuff thats not as described, and I know I am not the only one. And if there is not somewhere to leave it, lets make somewhere. PLEASE, post comments, lets see if we can rid this forum of sum bags....
  22. Hi, you may remember me, I bought a few bits from you including some 555cc injectors. I have been having no end of problems ever since I fitted the things. One dosnt work, period, and at least one has a poor pattern so is next to useless. I am looking at at least £100.00 to get them serviced. On top of that, you promised to send the new O rings, which you didnt. This is on top of you telling me, and every one else that it was a Fidanza flywheel, which I doubt it is. And yes I know we discussed this but so far the ECU is the only thing I bought which I dont have issues with, but then I have not been able to drive my car since fitting your stuff. Why has it taken me so long to PM you? Because I could not remember who you were, and only found you today. I tried to PM you to keep it private but you will not accept PM's Your comments please.
  23. Just be very carefull what you but second hand. I bought 555 injectors off of a guy on this forum and two are duff. If you but S/H get them tested before you fit them as taking the plenum off again is PITA. PS, to the guy I bought them from....If I could remember who you are I would expect some refund. I will remember one day.
  24. yes, my view too. It does have to be a ball bearing turbo and one of the newer designs....
