  1. Ha yeah mate, WTF? I've been doing the same thing for hours and this time it's worked, typical that it'd work on my reluctant throwing the towel in and asking for help post lol. Ah well.
  2. Right, I've never had a sig pic as I've just never got round to it but now I want to add one, so been trying this now for the last hour or so and got nowhere lol. I have taken a pic of the zed, cropped it and added text etc, uploaded to photobucket, copied and pasted the url link into the text box in edit sig, preview works but when I click 'save signature' it directs to another page saying 'There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period.' Then when I check back to a post I've previously made my sig pic is not present, tried this loads of times and exactly the same thing happens, am I doing something wrong here? It's obviously not a size issue as there are many users using bigger images in their signatures. It's getting rather frustrating now. :taz:
  3. Yeah both the Z32 and the Z33 do have the same 5x114.3 PCD and 66.1 centrebore. Go for it.
  4. Actually it's more beneficial to use super unleaded in the winter, the air is colder in winter and therefore denser which means you get a leaner burn and should use a higher octane fuel, not so much in the summer where the air is much warmer, in a standard UK car regular premium unleaded will suffice in warmer conditions.
  5. That looks a minter, well played.
  6. These would take some polishing lol
  7. I'd like to see more japanese metal in this one, the first 3 were brimmed with japness and I think they were more popular for it, but the 4th one was mostly muscle cars which was a dissapointment for me, and testimony to that, I own the first 3 and have seen them many many times, the fourth one I saw once at the flix and the only time I might watch that again is maybe if it's on sky movies when theres *****x all on.
  8. lol at working out mpg's in a 300ZX. I have no idea what my mpg's are, I fill it with fuel and when it gets low I fill it again, not interested in finding out what the cars mpg is. I've also got a Nissan Qashqai and an old primera, now I'm all over the mpg's in those because they're my daily drivers, the zed only gets out at weekends and then when the weathers nice and I fully expect to blow a tank of motion lotion when it does get out.
  9. Hi and welcome aboard, as afore mentioned you're certainly in the right place for zed knowledge, but we need some pics of your zed on here mate!
  10. My Zed hasn't moved for 2 weeks and 3 days, I started it up yesterday and fired up perfectly, let it idle until it hit peak temperature then shut it off. I bought myself an old Primera last week to run about in to keep the Zed off the road until at least March, because while the snow has gone for now the roads are still covered in deadly rock salt, and besides theres forcast to be more snow on the way later next week. The shed is a 97 P 2.0 GX, 109k, tax August, mot July, full service history, lady owned for 12 years, recent exhaust and downpipe, new clutch, new brakes, spot on condition inside and out apart from a light patch of rust on the f/n/s arch, cost me 500 quid! Now I know we all like piccies here, so heres a pic I took of it a couple of days ago complete with my snow covered Zed in the background :thumbup1:
  11. Thats awesome, where did you get it?
  12. Nice one, and welcome to the club. Now lock it up until the snow melts.
  13. Tunnel runs 1 & 2 now in the pics/video/media section, enjoy. (Pumping tunes courtesy of Croeso)
  14. I was in the 3rd group and we went through at 12:45, run 2 was done by 2am.
  15. Well done Mark for an awesome event, I couldn't believe how many had turned out for this, there must have been hundreds of jap cars there, also a handful of vettes (drool). Not many 300ZX there mind, apart from mine I only saw two others, shame. I've got a few videos from my 'last minute bright idea camcorder install', I'll get them up when they've uploaded, I'm sure there'll be all kinds of photo's knocking about too because there were camera flashes going off the whole time. Again Mark, like I said earlier I don't know how you managed to pull this off, but well played mate.
  16. I just hose the car down before I apply the sponge.
  17. Yeah I can see that tailgate gathering muchos rainwater.
  18. Thats been for sale for ages. It's obviously a show car, it'll just end up tatty after a while as an everyday driver, or even a weekend driver as most of ours tend to be. Hard to sell I think, but considering the work it's obviously had (apart from the engine bay) it's not really that bad a price.
  19. Yeah well getting a cheap set of tyres for 19's with 40's is not going to be cheap, unless you can source a set of part worns for £40 each, they'll do you over the winter months. Why dont you just see if you can get a set of stock alloys with tyres, that'll work out cheaper still.
  20. Trial run today went better than I expected, was a bit shaky on some rough road surfaces resulting in slight blurring, but still very good. I had to remove my rear view mirror because that was directly in the view. So I'll go ahead and use it for the run tonight then.
  21. Why don't you just switch the tyres?
  22. Nice one, some Zed appreciation there. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder
  23. If it's a clear night then yes the targas will be off, but might have to modify a muffler for the microphone to reduce air noise. Securing the camcorder under the passenger headrest was plan B if this doesn't work. Yeah I only had this idea yesterday, so obtaining the proper gear might be a little difficult now, I'll see how the trail run goes. If it's a clear night the targas will be off so thats that idea scuppered, but nice idea though. Maybe if I can get a hold of something like that I could hang it from the rear window pointing forward. Yeah I imagine the sound might be obscured by air noise if I have the targas off, so after I try it before hand it's clear theres air noise I'll try to fabricate a muffler that I can stick over the mic. That looks awesome, just wish I had thought of this earlier, I could have knocked up something like that. Thanks for all the input fellars, I'll see how the trial run goes and hopefully my half arsed efforts will produce some entertaining veiwing, I'll get back with how the trail run goes fingers crossed.
