  2. Hey boldy did you bother removing the metal pipes from the throttle bodies like it says to do on tt.net? I have rodder's engine and it looks like he has done the same bypass as pictured above but when Pete and me removed the plenium the metal pipework was still attached to the bottom of it?

  17. Yeah, my car used to run about 80c all the time. If stopped for fuel etc the water temp would be 88c ish on turning the ignition back on. Start the car and it drops straight back to 80 as the pump turns again.

  21. Thing is right, when it was on ebay I went on a misson to prove it was not the film car and found some sites etc that would suggest the car on ebay was not the car in the film. http://www.wiki.tanie-opole.info/zwiki/Z_Car_History This site says that it was a 2 seater (SWB), but if you play the dvd on slow mo you can see its a 2+2, the fuel cap is behind the rear wheel not in front like on a swb. I found another site, homepage of some guy who says he was an extra in the film and that it was a tt. He says that the car was shipped to the usa and the bike / z shoot was done in the usa. I'll see if i can find that page again.
  22. oh yeah doh, was an auto as well wasnt it?
  23. blue 2+2 tt, it recently sold by a collector on fleebay wasn't 99 spec, much earlier car i thought it looked like a swb on the film so i looked at the dvd frame by frame and its deffo a 2+2
  24. You so want it to be real dont you lol. I'd send him what he asked for, but only give a fake name, address etc. Scan a driving licence etc and photoshop it. What funny fake names can we give him? :)
