  1. Its something that i know i should do really and i have heard the horror stories, but also heard from quite a few other people that are using them that they have not had any probs. how much £ you looking for nick?

  3. i used a bit of flexible copper plumbing pipe from focus! the pipes are 21mm i think got a new matrix now so it will be coming off very soon.

  5. mmm just tried it on the spvm2000 and all com ports execpt com3 dont connect com3 gets stuck on connecting... might try the earlier versions
  6. came on the engine, was going to sell it and fit an sgp but decided to risk it! Glenn, turboz, can you check what size blet you have?

Just fitted the new engine and it has an ebay unorthordox type crank pully on it. the stock fan/alternator belt is now the wrong size. to the people running these, what size belt are you using (should say on the belt) mechanic found one that fit but its old and squeeks like a mouse on crack! It has no markings on it so cant tell the size. Got it fitted to get the car running, need to get the size without taking it off again to trace round it if possible.

  10. basically it shows what the ecu is seeing. So shows if any of the sensors are faulty (big prob with old cars), shows if you had any ecu error codes etc doesnt show compression or anything mechanical but that stuff can be checked by your every day mechanic

  14. i got a set from 2fast2cool for 130 quid comes with all bolts, gaskets, divorced down pipes and decats for 130 quid get them and sell your phnw ones so it wont cost you that much overall The ebay 2fast2cool ones are stainless and very well made. Not the best stainless metal as they were slightly magnetic, but still worth the money imo

  16. My engine came with it done but we have swapped the red vac hose for proper water hose.
  17. well i wont have any change from 3.5k by the end of the week but it will be worth it! (a bit over my original budget of 2k) ! hicas now binned!
  18. I'm getting one tonight from luke, they are different for lwb and swb lwb ones cost £5 more so would make sense for them to be longer for the price increase maybe someone fitted a swb one to your car?

  21. had water upto the doors on the vectra the other day - no probs could have done with some hydrafoils tho! :) New engine time j spec tt, i have one if you want one to rebuild, rods should be fine in it
