i thought it might be. i dont wanna remove it. i think its there for a reason, and i dont believe that nissan would spend all that time and money researchin it and it not do its job. just my opinion, anything that helps me keep the thing under control is a bonus. :) . cheers

How big of a job is it to convert my hicas (hydraulic, series 2 TT) into electronic hicas. and is it the same system as on the skyline gts's. reason i ask this is because iv found a gtst in a scrapyard with electronic hicas and my hicas is leaking at the back somewhere. any info welcome cheers danny

the VQ30DE is used in the maxima qx aint it, there's a 2litre VG20de aswel in the qx's i think. both non turbo's and not what id call performance engines though. got a 2 and 3 litre qx in the family, very torquey and smooth. danny

Went to sunny blackpool with my trials riding buddy on sunday (and it was actually sunny), did about 10 mins riding then snapped my left crank arm clean off. nearly broke my big toe on the rock i was trying to jump up. so gave the biking up for the day and decided to hit the local cruze that night and got pulled and fined £30 for tinted windows. part from that it was a good day. Arse

any more pics, imfo on that car mate, same colour as mine but i do like the luks of the kit on that, not normally a fan of bodykits bit te odd one stands out. cheers danny

Yeah for sure, i didnt even look at non turbo's, nothing against them but for insurance they are all imports so are as much (for me) to insure as a TT. so fuel and repair costs aside, there was no competition. on the motorway with the cruise control on mine shocks me how economical it is (for a 3 litre tt). But like has been said, flatten the loud pedal and watch the needle drop, well worth every penny in my eyes. my Z is the single best (and biggest) purchase in my life. i agree with you siraff on the different tests for different cars, would solve a lot of problems. and its like iv always said about women, ya cant beat experience. danny

on the age and powerful rear wheel drive issue, i got my TT Z on the road on my 21st birthday after owning 3 almeras. and it really is like learning to drive again, all my mate said id crash it in the 1st week ( got it in april). but as long as you dont go daft should be ok. Mines done 88k on stock turbo's running 1 bar of boost and a few other mods and it doesnt smoke and always holds peak boost. and its bloody quick. i spent 3 months looking for mine and luked at 7 different ones before i picked the one, and have never luked back. good luck mate, let the fun begin. danny

single life is ace, i wouldnt av it any other way, unless the dream girl came along but even then id be uneasy. just think of all the plus points, i think they far outweigh the negatives, but thats jus my view as a 21 year old lad. danny

the best 4x4 truck in think is the savage ss. think they're £450 and they will do 40mph+ over anything. i had one and its bin sold round 3 of my mates and 1 of them has had it off a 20' school roof and it didnt feel a thing. monster.

Well you kinda gals are hard to find. every g/friend iv had didnt see the point in nice or fast cars and it had come to the ' the car or me question' a few times. The hunt goes on.

Just been reading jap performance and it seems that the VQ40 de from the nissan navigator mated with the heads from the VQ35de would be a killer match, imagine that with the twin tubs aswell. danny

Was on the roundabout next to the preston end of the M65 on monday the 6th nov. looked standard but very tidy, j reg -spec, i was in the most un noticable car on the planet so you wouldnt have seen me waving. danny

Went to pod at the weekend, did 5 runs and got 13.5, 13.4, 13.3, 13.2, and 13.1. not in that exact order but near enough. i was one onf 2 Z's running on the sunday, the other was a swb, no one from here. he said he had bigger turbo's, hks engine management, bigger intercoolers and some other stuff and it was fully stripped out . his best run was 13 dead. there were very few supras getting near them times. My best run i launched at 4k ish and it just lept off the line, i hung 1st n second gear for to long though. well impressed with it though, better than the almera anyway. danny

Only saw to the whole weekend, 1 was a white lwb, standard alloys, think it was a g reg jspec, with big bore exhausts. the other was a black swb with carbon bonnet, fully striped out interior and performance mods, he wasnt a member on here jus thought id mention it. danny

Count me in for sure, aslong as it doesnt clash with works xmas do, dont know when that is yet though. curry sounds good, not sure bout the alcohol though, i dont really drink ;) I went to an italian in preston last week, is it anjelos, that was very good, nice big place aswel. just a though. danny

i heard people saying at bruntingthorpe that they got .5 secs quicker at pod coz theres more grip. time will tell. iv never seen a Z run a gud time at pod yet, infact iv only seen a handfull, obviously im goin to the wrong events. will see how i get on this weekend.
