  1. i cant even log in, has happened in the past thought and just goes back to normal the next day, reason unknown. danny
  2. i was surprised by that film, say a few trailers of it and thought it'd be crap, but thought it was quiet good. not as good as the 1st one though
  3. wouldnt say the 350Z is faster, the spec R s15 has 280bhp same as the 350 and is the lighter car for sure. i love the s15 R, possibly the only car i would sell my Z for. Does it not have the SR20VET engine though??? danny
  4. yup, i'll have one aswell, cheers danny
  5. on a nicely kitted car they make a nice finishing touch if done right. wouldnt do it on a standard car though. and i think colour choice is important. and if you do it dont have the tubes visable. danny
  6. cheers for that pete, in know my cars not french, but it felt good being among all the little cars. few reasons for going to that, long story, not for my love of french cars though. will be working on my launch n having another go in the future though. cheers danny
  7. Ive been trying to tackle this recently, only had the Z for 2 months or so and its a far cry from the almera gti i had before it. But iv found that launching at 3500rpm and letting the clutch out fast (not side stepping it though) with about half throttle, then feed the throttle in quiet quickly and try keep it on the verge of wheelspin. then obviously watch the rev counter and change at 6500 ish (there might be a better shift point though). Ive tried launching at higher rpm but it just leaves number 11's every where. http://www.theresults.co.uk/2006_french_car_show.htm These are my results using the above techniques, ish. i know it was a french car show (dont ask) but it was like being a god among insects. hope this helps danny
  8. Tis I. I work next next door but one to supertex. am doing much mileage but loving the Z to the max. Saw a silver one heading towards the M65 on the dual carrigeway on friday afternoon, 4:30 ish. only saw it at the last minute so aint got much of a description. And the japfest was beyond amazing. good to be part of the Z community. danny
  9. Id say the savage 25 was plenty fast enough. and imagine its mental with the twin engines, thinkk ur brave goin for that though, one engine is bad enough to keep running. two stroke's are the way to go in the model car world, bit more industrial me thinks. danny
  10. Cheers for all the views guys and Yeah is manual, with short shift kit, which i like a lot. i got it from glassgow, or just a bit north of there, long drive but well worth it. how can i check the ecu for the chip, it goes well with the boost but i want to turn it down i think, bit ballistic for my first rear wheel drive car. and im from horwich, near bolton. cheers all, danny

  15. hi ya'all, im a new member and dont have a Z as yet, hoping to change that in the next few months. but i'l be at mascrat, its a good meet. i'l probably be the only almera gti ther. it'l be good to finally talk to some owners of Z's, and maybe get a ride in one if anyone would be kind enough to take me for a spin.
