  1. The cat sensors register un burnt fuel in the exhaust and bring on the warning light before the cats are goosed.
  2. ^^^^ Everyone i mot is rotten around that age.when they go they go bad.The boot floors rot real bad as the tailgate seals fail.

  8. Never removed the air box? Just free the a/c pipes so the box can be pulled away from the bulkhead.Once this is done its possible to get your hand behind and release the plate.
  9. Youll have to undo the bracket that seals the a/c pipes against the bulkhead in the engine bay.Once this is done the heater box will move slightly so you can get behind it.Where it passes into the car inside is a guide bracket held by two 10mm headed nuts.this has to be removed for the plug to pass.Its still a pita to do but worth it after.

  12. I reckon what they meant was they couldnt do it.From what i can gather its a good system and can cope with serious set ups such as yours.How is your mate coping with it?
  13. They could be living in the car.My old service manager had a ka with mice living in it.He even tried running it with a pipe from the exhaust into the car to kill em with no avail.Tough little buggers mice.That car could be a real headache for someone.

  15. The water pipes look good but that oil line doesnt.Way to close to the downpipe.Will it not reach if you route it underneath? Standard bolts are fine on the downpipe.
  16. Hi Bud,i was in a blue 03 renault laguna heading down wolvershill Rd toward Banwell.I was on my way to Thatchers Cider to top my supplies :).Nice looking Zed and a great colour.
  17. You may only have to remove the cam belt covers to locate the fault.Easily done at home with a few basic tools.
  18. On the back of each lamp adjacent the slam panel will be a thin stalk with an 8mm nut head on the end.
  19. Did you sort that engine noise out or get to the bottom of it?
  20. Its easy to adjust them but you need to know if they are right.Pop down to a friendly test station and bung the tester a few quid to set them up on the beam setter.
  21. You passed me in a Metallic green series 3 twin turbo near Banwell Weston Super Mare.The reg was K70NY*.Clean looking car with aftermarket wheels.
  22. A quick way to rid the lamp of condensation is to leave it on main beam with a rag over the lens.
  23. All body panels are still available i was told earlier this year.Mjp can get them.Hes a trader on here.Will cost a bomb for fitting.One of the worst panels to replace.
  24. The targa drain runs down the screen pillar so it may be the screw has pierced the tube.
  25. Alan,is it may be worth asking Mikey for the M3 owners phone number.It will be needing a new engine by now and the guy will be sick of it so you may get it for a song :D
