  2. :gunsmilie: Meets with massive amounts of notice!! They are the best ones.
  3. Im interested date pending bud.
  4. Seized u/j on steering column directly above steering rack.Quite rare but it can happen.Youll have to mark the u/j,s lower position on the rack or your wheel wont be straight after youve removed it.Leave it soaking in diesel then work it to free up the tight bearing.
  5. Go on treat yourself.have a new one put in it
  6. Talking of v8s.Went to look at a guys zed on saturday. One of his other cars was a Monkfish tuned v8 monaro.Jeez was it fast.the noise was pant wetting to say the least.V6,s are nice but v8,s are the dogs !! I WANT ONE
  7. Those figures dont seem that bad really,if you have no issues then whats the problem, when you get below 100psi your in sh1t.I wouldnt raise the boost on it though.
  8. My thoughts exactly, peeps will say "yeh mate go for it :sneaky2:" then piss themselves when it looks pants after and would NEVER adorn their cars with such hideous colours.
  9. A good mate of mine worked at a Jaguar dealer and a guy tried to force a torque convertor onto a box by pulling it in with the bellhousing bolts :scared: It ended in disaster. The box was scrap after.
  10. For you bud its simple, run 6mm id pipe straight to your tubs, anyone using stock tubs with the wastegate soleniods you should keep the restrictors that are fitted in the stock pipes or you will struggle to make decent boost.
  11. The stock hoses feeding the wastegates have restrictors in like boost jets so if youve junked the originals your boost will be lower unless your running an ebc.
  12. I would have stopped bud but the firm i work for would go nuts if i was spotted.I work at the Daf dealership over the rd from formula 1.You come to Bristol often?
  13. When i worked at another Truck dealer in Bristol a few years ago,A guy on another shift would steal your food if you left it on the table or in the canteens fridge.A mate and me got fed up with this so started to doctor some tasty items.Using a large syringe designed for injecting fish oil into Pike baits we were able to inject all kinds of "bodily fluid" into choc bars, cakes, fruit .I use to piss myself laughing watching the guy walking out of the canteen starting his lateshift eating some of our treats we,d left him.
  14. Martins got hydraulic lifters still,so would need a solid lifter or dummy to do that, but what your saying is correct bud.
  15. That would be more feasible bud :gunsmilie:
  16. Arse,im busy that weekend. No worries matey.I DO NOT expect you to fit around me.so if its convient for most people then carry on.My cars sorn at the mo as i dont expect i will drive it for a while.Got to sort My good ladies car out.Just dont enjoy yourselves without me as i cant live with that!! 19. Spotted a purple R reg series 3 by KFC on the end of the the spine rd.Had nice gold centered wheels with one punctured tyre half off the rim as it was limped along!!
  20. Ring Cabot tyres in Bristol Murt,Guys a grumpy twat but his prices are good.
  21. You running a lightened flywheel and front damper? Much easier fitting these whilst shes out and they do free up a few bhp.A new loom is a good one as Si says.Youll have so much more faith in the car with it fitted.
  22. It wont be detonation if it makes the noise stationary.
  23. Unplug the vtc solenoid plugs rev it a few times and see if it goes. That rev range is when the variable timing control works and can make a rattle if the springs are faulty. The vtc solenoid plugs are located at the n/s rear of the plenum, grey 2 pin oval plug and the d/s front of the plenum close to the power steering resovoir, grey 2 pin oval plug also.HTH.
  24. My full list is a courier van, renault laguna dci and a 309gti which i hope to get back on the road, amazing car to drive and the handling was out of this world.
  25.
