Screws not tightening
Simple question . Just fitted a replacement indicator , for one which had a screw missing and found that the screw just turns without tightening ( which explains the missing original screw ) , As we`re dealing with plastic and using a fattter screw might break it , what to do ? A bit of white Blu-Tac seems a tad wish-and-hope . All suggestions in the box by the watercooler Many thanks " I know : I don`t have enough to worry about , and should get a ******* life "

Hearty congratulations to you both . Shame about the kerfuffle , mind . I sense this child might have an interesting education , outside of school anyway . :)

Number Plate
Mine are from Fancy Plates too . They may or may not be illegal , but the Congestion Charge camera took a nice pic of my front one , which was sure big enough for their purposes ! Cost me £50 `cause I forgot all about the charge and drove 10 minutes before the 6-o-clock deadline . The worst part is , I`ve got a Residents Discount of 90% , so I could have paid the fookers £4 for the min. 5 days charge :wack: I`ve said me piece

Sealing headlights?
Cheers Dave I was thinking I need to fix the black rubber grommet (?) to the plastic and then somehow seal it to the wing so it`s watertight . The instructions recommend clear silicone sealant , but the question is : Is it easily removeable for bulb-changing , without scratching the paintwork ? Ta Brian

Sealing headlights?
I`ve just fitted clear side-repeaters ( about time , I know ) But I want to make the seals completely waterproof ( don`t know if water can drain out once it gets into the wings  ) . Obviously , I would have to remove them at some point for bulb renewal . Would mastic be best for this as well ? Is it available clear ?
