brill and yea its a lwb 2+2.

THANKS GUYS

The uk spec fogs ruin the rear bumper IMO why you would choose to use a uk spec over a Jspec rear bumper is beyond me.

I get what you mean Steve; as the rear fogs in the bumper are a little dated now....

....But I actually prefer the UK spec rear number plate over the (daft) J-spec square one...

For me, a combination of the two would look best - a UK spec, but without the fog lights....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

well Ive just won it so only to sort out the postage with a member on here. I might get the bodyshop to fill in the fogs and plastic weld up the holes and have the best of both. lol will wait and see what it looks like as no j's about here at all. I think Gary in Belfast is the closest at 90 miles away

I think the UK rear bumper looks much better than the import bumpers with there oversized stupid stuck on huge ugly red lamp fitted.

UK ones look tidy and you can make both rear fog lights work to be seen much better in the fog than any alternative fitment from a import bumper.

I have a pic of that combo for your consideration, next time I'm on my PC I'll pop it up here :)

LOL I think I was the other bidder on this - blue shapphire bumper? I couldn't decide what to do in the end...whether I wanted the UK fogs or not. I still have plenty of time to dedide....

For me the UK bumper is one of the key identifiers of the rarer UK Spec Z32s. Not bothered by the fogs being in the bumper, at the

end of the day these are 90's cars after all. I modified the dummy fog lamp to work, so both come on together, very useful on the

rare occasions I have been caught in poor weather.

Agree on the drop down fog lights. I fit mine for mot then take them of again.:whistling:

rofl.....

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I have no rear fog lights. Never driven my Z in fog, light summer mist is all I ever seem to encounter so I have no use for them at all. I have a bulb holder and switch which I use for MOT purposes which use one of the reverse lights. Quickly take it out after and return it to dual reverse lights.

I do have a uk car with uk bumper I think the uk bumper is better looking or at least will be as my car is getting a full paint job soon am keeping the uk bumper but will be filling in the fog lights so its all smooth am sure that will do the trick

I have no preference. I like them equally. Both look good with the stone-chip effect smoothed. I like side markers and exotic/import look of the import bumper, but like the UK for its domestic look and functionality.

One thing that completely ruins the look of an import bumper is having an ill-fitting number plate. Either too big or too small and it looks really untidy. Import plates look better with all the digits on one line, rather than two. Detail is the key.

the jap bumper is let down by the reg plate size apart the uk bumper is let down by the fog lights so the uk bumper with out the fogs will look the best I think

ok then thay could look better I don't like any cars with jap style plates just looks kind of odd

I get what you mean. But I think they can look better by doing the detail things I suggested. Having a correctly cut plate makes a HUGE difference, so does having all the digits on one line - nice plain font - no borders, tacky logos and other graphics. Import plates catch my eye too. - This is as neat and as tidy looking as a UK cut out....if you do it right, which I kinda tried to do. :)

I guess it is a matter of personal choice.

You are right though Funkysi, the devil is definitely in the detail.

I do like what you have done there.
