They look great, a standard height z is a mission to jack up and when there lowered a right pain in the arse.

Looks like they go high too, 2 sets would be perfect lol.

Yeah 2 sets would be ideal, must be available in the uk, save on post. I'd still want axel stands under there, you wouldn't work under a trolley jack would you lol.

Good find Gary. And like you say the ones I linked provide a substantial saving. The guy on mr2oc who I got the link from paid 300 euros delivered, which is circa £250.00 at current exchange rates. I'm trying to link the pic of his car on the ramps but I'm struggling lol!

I want a set just for exhaust polishing purposes

They look class, reckon we could get a group buy going? Saves me digging a pit in my garage. What would you do if you needed the wheel off though?

Whats a zed weigh?

Worth checking they are 900kg at all heights, some jacks are only capable of their rated weight at one height and much less at some heights

Great piece of kit...ide be interested in 2 myself and plumb mine into an electric hrydrolic power pack:yes:

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looked at these at Autosport international. They looked like a great bit of kit and cost £350.

What changed my mind about the ones I saw was the back 'run off' stops didn't lower far enough for a lowered ZED, they are a bulky, the front will hit the floor if jacking from the rear at full extension, and you still have to drive on to them, so why not drive up on to normal, no maintenance ramps.

What I would like to see would be 2 low entry jacks operated by one pump that could be placed under a static car and operated together, now that would be a help.

I see them at a car show last year had a transit on 4 ,looked the nuts

But how did they get the transit on four???

And how long did it take.??

i hate to rain on the parade but these just look difficult/impossible to use on a low 300ZX.

Plus...as already said you cant take a wheel off.

80% of the jobs I do on 300Zxs involve wheel removal even if its just to improve access

Low entry racing jack is the way to go..................

IMO.. IMO

Don,t they lower flat for driving on and then get pumped up ? And with the Fronts can't you just loop the hose to the front ?

There's got to be a lot of jobs done on a Zed that don't require the wheels off !

Looks like the ones linked lower quite flat, the ones at Autosport would have made contact with my front bumper before the wheels engaged the ramp.

My main point was if you have to drive on to these and then pump them up, why not drive on to ramps and be done with it ( if you know what I mean ).

As said, it would be good if there was a system that could Jack the car up both sides simultaneously without having to move/drive the car, wheels on or off.

For myself, I know that there are a few times that the car hasn't been running or is in my garage where it would have been great if I could have jacked the car without having to drive it on to ramps.

They are however a great bit of kit if you have the money, for me I'll stick with my homemade low entry £20 wooden system, lol.
