  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Table cloth? It's a bloody dish cloth and it's my kitchen!! My table has no 'cloth' on as it's glass.

;)

Gearbox removed ready to take to Lee Dent next weekend. It's so much easier to remove with no engine or exhaust in the way.

I actually did things to my Zed today...!

Took her get new back tyres fitted after a blow-out a few weeks back. It was nice to stretch her legs a bit :)

Fiited a replacement passenger side scuttle panel and finally got rid of the smashed one that was on when I bought her.

Gave her a wash and wax, then tucked her back up on the drive again.

Quite productive for a change :D

Had the Fairlady out last week so washed it dried it and put her back in the garage with the dehumidifer on to dry it out totally.

Ide happly buy a zed off you Gary:yes:

Thanks Bri and I would happily buy one of you mate :thumbup1: I know I dried it with a towel and would usually give it a quick drive to get all the moister of it but the roads were a bit wet and would of only got the zed dirty again so in the garage and dehumidifer on.

Fitted a new metal lock clasp to replace the broken plastic one.

And now I feel epic!

WTF!?!?!? Did they even work!!!????

I did some work on my Z.....couldn't remember the speakers that I fitted to the door brackets when I first bought the car....never paid any attention to them since until now. Took them off earlier and they're 13cm Kenwood speakers! Going in the trash! Epic fail!

Fitted hks air filter today, made up connection to bolt to afm, prepped headlamp panel for paint and started to prep gtz front lip for fitting.

Found by Mr. Lee Dent, that if I had driven a few more miles I would have been looking for a new engine, see timing belt thread I started for pics.

I sold it :crying::crying::crying:

No, you will have to get another one soon Paul, you have been and will be missed.

Well I actually went out and braved the wet and cold...... I took off the N/S targa and tried to find the reason for my soaking wet passenger seat..... I lifted the seals on the roof and cleaned under them, then siliconed them down as per Jeff TT's thread after painting...

I checked the drain holes and all were clear, but can't seem to find how the middle of the seat gets wet??

I also slightly moved the door locking striker in to pull the door tighter.... this weekend is to adjust the window runner to pull top of window tighter into rubbers and strip targa and reseal the sides just in case it's leaking through them and out of the catch section.....

Getting ready for MOT in next week or so..............YAY......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!
