  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

That's interesting... always wonder how people find out things like that?

Having worked out one or two things like that for myself, you look at things and have a hunch and try.

Primera P10 heater matrix, virtually perfect fit and cheaper than OEM for our zed and cheaper than they used to be http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/P10-Primera-1-6-2-0-High-Quality-New-Heater-Matrix-Core-90-97-/151220085090?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

What...

I looked on eBay earlier and couldn't find one in the UK. Don't know what I was searching!

I found an old thread from 2008 which confirmed it was the P10 matrix that i need. Also found a link to a heater bypass which i was considering doing until i could find the right matrix.

Thanks for everyone's comments. Really helpful stuff! :thumbup1:

Now time to enjoy the fun job of replacing it [emoji106]

Going to read as many write-up as possible before i get on with it.

Can't imagine it's going to be very fun.

Tips/suggestions are welcome.

Its not too hard a job, just an awkward position

As we were quiet and I'm not getting to drive it for a while took the silver zed into work, found a few issues, still haven't worked out of its smoking on boost or on overrun (after boost), can't really let it spool at the moment because it's traction issues.

very childish but did enjoy cruising through the busy high Street with the exhaust bungs removed... You can keep you Christmas music... Can't beat the sound of a child asking it's mum: " mum, what sort of lamborghini is that?" when I stopped at a crossing :cool3:

Took the Z for a spin... Been itching to for a couple of weeks now!

No family day today so I too have been out for a run, car enjoyed the cool air, it was nice out but I wasn't brave enough to take the Targa's off

Hope you've all had a great Christmas

Not getting up to much these days, but I gave the back boxes a quick polish this morning anyway.

Planning to order a few more parts soon then hopefully have it ready to go for March.

What did I do to my Zed today?

I washed the damn thing... and the Celica... and Mrs M's Suzuki Swift...! Always fun doing these things when there's rain and sleet coming down, but the Zed and the Celica were both absolutely filthy and spoiling the aesthetic of the house...

That's enough for one day, I reckon :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Tentatively booked my car in to the same place as JoelyP's to have work done on my car for March. I'm itching to fit the new spoiler. I've also got loads of other new bits and bobs to fit.

What are we to do?

Bargain of the year so far Gaz, they retail at something like £130-£150!!

I wonder if they've any more??

I thought so when I started googling the price :) I had to arrange my own courier which I have done now so hope it all goes to plan.
