  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

  • These parts turned up from Specialty-Z today. Last significant items for the "bolt on" build. I'll post some more pictures of all the stuff I have collected over the years (literally!) in the "Project

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Didn’t know there were meets at Port Solent.

The first rule of Port Solent Meet is . . . .

New gearknob arrived at local Nissan dealer so took the zed for a spin to collect it.

Bout time I started getting the pile of parts on the car lol! Still need to get the bushes and exterior trim bits ordered though, sure someone told me it never ends but I didn't believe them!

What’s the parts list like from dealers? Do they still supply many these days?

They still carry some but most seem to come over from Japan when you order them.

More and more parts are going NLA though unfortunately.

Theres also Luke at Z Centre and places like https://jp-carparts.com/ and https://www.amayama.com/en for new OEM stuff

Hi Mate,

I may have a spare set of clear side repeaters in my garage.... I'll take a look tomorrow ?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

As for me, I did nothing to my Zed today - but yesterday I collected it from Sir Jimmer after he replaced my failed auto box, plus fixed a couple of minor niggles....

........As the car had been away for a couple of weeks, I enjoyed a rather nice drive home along a reasonably quiet M4 ?

Hi there .... yeah every 2nd & last Sunday of the month, 10am to midday. Just a nice chance to meet other like minded enthusiast's, and a large range of cars

Spent a couple of hours polishing it (didn't have an aggressive enough pad to get all the swirls out but it came up good. Applied a glaze and then a wax. IMG_20220518_114230.thumb.jpg.3df2d0ab0e7dc1497538a3562ccad477.jpg

Then for the first time since I bought this car in August 2020 I drove it just for the pleasure of driving it. Wasn't a test drive following work on it. Or driving it back from the rust repairs. Just t tops off, windows down, drive down to the Marina and around the old town. This car infuriates me often, and is far from perfect and will likely cost me ££££ in the near future. But I'll never sell it.
