Going to start this thread for members to post up what they did each day to there zed. I will start with getting my MOT this morning. So what did you do today on your 300?:cool3:

And today, I had new rear tyres fitted to my Zed........ ? 

Took the zed out for a few hours the weekend wasting loads of very expensive fuel just joy ridding.. its really good  on fuel very surprised with some spirited driving 

parking was lucky I realise now why i didn’t lower her to much. ?

Looking great Graham and boy did you just miss that kerb ? Mine still under wraps in the garage.

There was about 25mm clearance gaz ? only took her out because i knew there was no rain forecasted 

wont be long for some good weather gaz ?

LOL - it looks like a sheet of newspaper would barely fit under your front end Graham!!

But still, now the weather is improving, it's time to get back in the Zed as often as possible.... I'm off to Dorset for a few days next weekend, so will be sure to take the Zed for it's first proper run of the year ?

I have fag papers thicker than that gap....

Not had the zed uncovered for a very long time now. 

Managed to clear a large space in my garage so uncovered one side and sat in the passenger seat for about 10 minutes. 

Just soaking in the feeling and lovely smell my zed gives off. 

 

Hopefully get the engine fixed shortly and back on the road for the first time in 6 years nearly.

 

Need to order another set of pistons but recent issues with my credit card has put a spanner in the works until I get it resolved. 

 

Still looking fantastic though Lee - this is one great Zed that I can't wait to see back on the road again..... ?

Will it be back on the road in June, we are passing through Troon to purposly meet up with you!

I doubt it as haven't even ordered the pistons yet ?

 

But if the weather is good everyone is welcome at mine for a short stop and a BBQ.

Today l took the Z for a drive to Dungeness via the Pilot Inn at Lydd on Sea

then onto the Britannia

Great to see people taking their Zeds out more, since the weather improved.....!

As for me, I have been away for a few days - we took the Zed to Dorset for a short holiday in the spring sunshine. It needs a good wash now, but that's a job for next weekend ? 

 If you miss the smell of petrol on a cold morning this could be just the thing to overcome the loss.

I forgot to mention that I did an oil change last weekend.

Last oil change was back in 2020 but I have only done 2K.

My Z was on/off the road best part of 9 months between 2019- Jan 2022.

What with 3rd auto-box fail then manual conversion.

All to do now are; rear fuel pipes, rear power steering pipe, both rear track rods (purchased)

Dont we just love them ?

We sure do, I have to do the same and paint rear subframe.

Car now on the ramps, I will start a post when I get round to it.
