  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

  • These parts turned up from Specialty-Z today. Last significant items for the "bolt on" build. I'll post some more pictures of all the stuff I have collected over the years (literally!) in the "Project

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I actually think they are OK, I have thought about removing them but they've been there for 20 years, they're fake.. No holes in them.. They are stuck down with some kind of 3M glue and I don't want to risk the paintwork.. And obviously the possible colour fade..

I do like them though, as tomomontana put it, she has big nostrils.. Lol..

I'd get them checked out. They always say if you've got a lump you should check it out...haha. Nice looking car though. How does it drive?

Took a trip to wales over the weekend to exchange my nose panel and bonnet for a matching cherry red one - ended up picking up a matching Stillen front spoiler lip for £5(! don't think the guy quite new what it was) and decided sod it i'll keep it - i just need to build a garage.....

The red nose panel even had the rarer gold Z logo :D Well chuffed for £65 + petrol

Cheers buddy, still needs a mop to bring back the depth of colour on the bonnet/nosepanel to match perfectly but it's a big improvement over the grey bonnet I was never 100% happy with :)

Glad your keeping it mate and a Stillen lip for a fiver that is sum bargain.

Haha, couldn't believe it when I realised what it was sitting in the boot of the car - i thought he'd chopped the bottom off the bumper to get clearance.

Tried not to make too much fuss over it and result was £5, needs rebuilding to strengthen the centre/repair the corner but i need the bumper/wing respraying anyway :)

I wasn't too fussed about selling it but for the right money it would have helped with a project i'm working on but after the extended pleasure drive I couldn't bear to sell it for a silly low price!

Nice work there Nick, car looks soo much better with the splitter and matching parts:thumbup1:

She drives superbly.. Smooth as silk.. Sounds very refined for a v6 tt no loud barks, just a nice low warble... Holds the road like poo to a blanket and turns heads everywhere I go..

I haven't had such a chatty social life with strangers ever before.. Everyone just has to ask me about her..

I try not to stop too much now lol..

Still like the nostrils though. I think it makes her a little different from the rest .. Always nice to be unique..

Nah, airflow is fine..no overheating.. The plate is actually on brackets held away from the front of the car. Plenty of air getting through with the nice big grinning vent.. :tongue_smilie:

that's a cool idea, but how does it work ?

When a fuse blows, the little LED lights up so it's easy to find:thumbup1:

Thats handy Andy  Where did you source them from?

Got them on ebay, I had to buy 5 of this size, 10 of that, etc, to make up the full compliment, cost me around £13.00 for all of them, I do have a few spares as a consequence.

I am trying to get the seller to make up a specific kit for our cars, whether he does or not is another matter, I have sent him the same pics today as I post here, so he can use in an ebay listing.
