  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Damn! That is cheap. I think I paid 4x that amount! haha Been on the car nearly 10 years though, so I can't complain. I got a bargain a few weeks ago when my UK clocks packed up. Found a set for £50 with the correct mileage on it!

I got a bargain, I paid..................£100 for all 3 pieces from a guy in Leeds .

Nice one Ian......

.....and I agree with Si and Gary - best rear end mod for a 300zx...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Panic over, for now. Found a small rust bubble on Zebedee's rear arch, so naturally assumed it was coming from the inside. But no!! Close check shows its just surface rust so he's in to be sorted and double checked on Thursday. Phew!!

A good tip for your rear arches make sure you wash out all the dirt on the inside lip of the arch as any mud in there will hold water and rust your arch's.

This was at the weekend do does it count? Finally got round to mounting my ECUTalk so it doesn't rattle around on the seat / floor / wherever it's got to. Tripmeter, sensors, error code monitoring and speedometer so I don't have to convert the clocks. Harrumble.

i've converted a stock reverse panel to light up blue for iangreenfield, now come and pick it up - better than your 99 spec one .

you da man buddy

Passed the MOT after a bit of welding where the previous owner had jacked the car up wrong. New decats fitted & new speed sensor fitted but still hasn't fixed my broken speedo or lack of power steering.

I went out in the pissing rain and sorted the radiator.

Also finished painting up the fan - which now looks awesome

Spent the entire day fixing and running new wiring for screens and lighting... some video feed gremins to chase still tho

What did I do to my Zed today?

I finally got the rear speakers working! :gunsmilie:

And I part ex'd my lovely interior...

Knock sensor fixed, thanks Bri, & new clocks fitted. Must be a dodgy wire in the back as my speedo & power steering are now working again. Will see if its still the same tomorrow before I start celebrating.

And I installed a lovely fresh looking interior after a 4 hour round trip to see Mondo

Swore at it when it developed a lumpy idle on the Scarborough meet today.

Then fell in love with it all over again when it sorted itself out.

Removed the LH section of my Mongoose exhaust, modified the hanger brackets ( it was hitting the rear bumper crossmember since the Japspeed decats were fitted), adjusted the fan belt - it doesn't squeal now and cleaned my wheels with Autosol.

Whoops, hit a bollard.
