Hello, I'm new in this place, glad to join you all, I want to buy an 300ZX, but i don't know where to start.. Reliability is it good or bad? i know it's an old car, and i must expect things going wrong.. I'm concerned about the miles too, when it's too much miles, for buying this car in your opinion ? What i must look at, first? Sorry for these dumb questions, I'm really desperate lol. Enviado do meu SM-G955F através do Tapatalk

Hey guys, just seen this, where Z1 are developing their own wiring harness for the Z32, they’re going to sell it for $398 but if you can order it, fit it within 90 days and provide feedback on it they then credit you with $200:yes: Might be of interest to some people on here:thumbup1: YouTube Link...

Like to say a very big thanks to club Importer Garry/GazWoz who made this happen! She was manufactured in October 96 with 43k on the clock one owner from new! I'm over the moon with excitement first time ever getting one from an auction in Japan. The only thing now I have to wait 8 weeks at least for it to land in the UK, then Gary is getting the roof and bonnet resprayed in white to match the rest of the car and getting everything else ready as well with the registration etc for me to pick up. I'm just looking at ordering a new OEM steering wheel gear knob and a few other interior bits to make it look like brand new. I've got some brand new confetti Rec…

Greetings Z enthusiasts! After much thinking I've come to the conclusion the best way to obtain my dream Z is to have Gazwoz import one for me from Japan. He's very resourceful and has vast knowledge as you already know and he has already surprised me with how fast he has acted in sourcing information on something that has caught our eye! It's in pearl white manual SWB 96 looks absolutely stunning so we'll see how it goes? If it's not the one I'm just going to play the waiting game until Gary contacts me with something that catches his eye. Exciting times ahead at least I am with somebody that knows his stuff in sourcing amazing fairladies from Japan.

300's not running correctly... whilst 90% of the time it drives lovely, if left to idle sometimes (quite randomly) the revs can blip then drop down and try to stall, tiny rev and it stabilises again. Sometims under boost (say 1500-2000rpm) cruising in a higher gear you will feel the occasional mis. When going flat out it behaves perfectly under full boost, and will rev-out fine in 1st/2nd, but in 3rd once it gets to 5500 or so it hits a brick wall. So it's not a boost leak, I think a coilpack or PTU is a possibility, and failing that an injector/connection. Given it's very intermittent how do I troubleshoot to find out or is it a case of suck-it-and-see wi…

Has anyone experienced this before? After about one minute after starting the engine, there is a sort of screeching noise coming from it. Drive for more than a few hundred yards and it goes. All belts, pulleys and idlers have been replaced as part of a full service. Only does it when the engine is cold If you have experienced this before and know what the answer is I would be grateful

Peeps My Varrstoen lug nuts have seen much better days, so I’d like to replace them. Really, I’d like a set of Rays Duralumin red anodised nuts, but at £186 for a set they’re just too dam expensive. Ideally I’d like to stick with red, short, closed end lug nuts but not finding any that aren’t cheep Chinese tat. Recommendations please!

I haven't used my zed much lately and the last couple of times I've started it, it's run rough for the first mile then it's been fine. I just put this down to damp through lack of use and didn't think much of it. I tried to start it today and it turns over, but won't start. I can hear the fuel pump priming when I turn the ignition on and I've got a spark. I removed the cas and turned it by hand and I can hear the injectors firing. Has anyone got any suggestions ?

Hi, if anyone is breaking a TK3 Z and have the following panels in mint condition, then please let me know. 1) Pass side Targa. 2) Pass Side door. All to suit a 93 J Spec LWB TT, ( not sure if any of that makes any real difference). Ta Sayers

Went to the petrol station yesterday and I had some trouble opening the flap.... Is there a way of tightening the wire as it feels as though it's just stretched over time?

Has anyone had a slightly squeaky or noisy slip ring/squib? Mine has a very slightly squeak at 3/4 turn and continues from the same spot at the next turn. I assume it's the slip ring as it sounds like it's plastic squeaking against plastic. Has anyone had similar and used a bit of lube to quieten? I'd imagine a small blob of PTFE grease would cure it, but could it be anything else?

Had my car in for timing belt and related parts, track down a boost leak and general check over. While it was there, I also managed to visit the Haynes museum and Funkysi before picking up the next day. All good. Thanks Jim.
