you can never call me rich boy again after seeing the pad. i've got the boat maybe but a mansion like that is out of the question. wont that put a dent in the z mods budget.r u up for forming a 300 only z club matey we got plenty people on here alone is enough to start a club and im sure we can both badger jonny into getting it off the ground

OKay, -Firstly- SO is there going to be a "300ZX.CO.UK" car club? {Even thou I"m in the US, I want to be apart of it} -Second- Does anybody have a nice, big-good pic of the FL Z emblem. I want to make banner for this site.? {If there isn't a problem with that}

Nico told me to look out for a knock from the rear silicone filled suspension assembly on acceleration/deceleration - as work/leaking bushes means whole new subframe at 1300 quid. So I did - no problem - so I bought the car (red 1990 jap 2+2 na 48k miles). No regrets. New tyres, new front tie rod, air filters and oil and the cars all sorted - except for this knocking. I've checked all these bushes, and all look in great shape. But I have a knock that comes from both sides as the car travels over uneven ground. Its a slow (not juggly) knock that is quite pronounced and more frequent when the car (suspension) is cold. I've had everything to bits and it still eludes me. I'm …

i'm just trying to work out which is the more economical car gto/zx300,but from what you guys are saying the zx's seem to be alot better,but at the end of the day when your red lining it mpg don't mean sh*t its all about adrenaline and that rush!!

Probably another stupid question, but..... I have a 92 import 2+2 TT, with an autobox. There is a three position rocker switch infront of the lever, labeled Hold, and Power. Power is pretty obvious (I guess?!), but what does the Hold do? Someone told me that the box "learns" how you drive and adjusts accordingly. Is this true? How do you set it for optimum? Are there any good mods and what are they for an auto box? (I noticed the previous posts about the rebuilt auto and its got me wondering...!)

Sometimes I get a funny buzzing sound from behind the plastic cover on the roof where your courtesy lights are.It sounds more like an electric/speaker buzz than a rattle. Behind the cover is an electrical thingy with a little capacitor on the front . Does anyone know what it is or whats making the noise.It only happens now and then. Thanks Paul...

Picked up my car from Silvia a few hours ago. Although I'm not going to give it stick until I've put a few hundred miles on the new gearbox, the difference is HUGELY noticeable. Gearchanges are instant and really firm. Just like the HKS ALC but firmer and affects all changes, not just full throttle. I'll report more when I can try full throttle action but initial reaction is that I'd thoroughly recommend the fast road upgrade when getting the box rebuilt. Dave

Could anyone tell me what mpg differences there are between turbo and non turbo/auto and manual as i can't seem to find any stats anywhere. thanks very much, Pete

In english, I've just ran my car into the back of a F$£*^** taxi! Fasia is screwed, as is the porsche lights (in the fasia) as is the hood, kinked wing etc. The fasia is not a standard nissan unit so I am having trouble identifying it. I have never seen it before on another Z (Jap import gives away a few clues). I will post a couple of pics when I have them scanned in. Yours sobbing like a school girl, Andy PS. Any contributions to the 'Get Andy's Z back on the road fund' are greatly appreciated. LOL

Hi, Can anyone answer this question, will a blow off valve work on an automatic as I think it is triggered by the pressure differential created when the throttle closes in between gear shifts. This doesn't happen on an auto as you just try and push the the pedal through the floor until you pass warp 9 :) Any words of wisdom will be appreciated.

I want a set of stock 16x8.5 rear wheels for my imported TT. Anyone got some in good nick? I've got an HKS filter to sell/trade also.

Hi, Some of you were waiting for my emission results to help decide about removing your CATS or not. Well, I passed, just... and that includes the JWT chip that's dumping extra fual into the system. Not bad, I think the limit was something like 3.5 for CO on a 1991 car. Mine was 0.1 just under whatever the limit is. So if you've got a post 1992 car you will probably not pass this test! Beware!

I've mentioned this to a few of you but want to get a firmer idea of numbers before I start making firm enquiries. I'm looking to arrange a trip to Le Mans next year. Best guess as cost at the moment would be around £150 per person (for two sharing a car) and cost would include ferry, campsite and race tickets. For anyone who I haven't bored about this, it is an amazing weekend with one of the most fun drives you will EVER have on the way down there. Can you post on here if you are interested or definite so I can get an idea of numbers and then I'll start making enquiries. Dave

Anybody know where I can get an offside tie rod bush? Nissians tell me that I have to buy the entire rod at 100 quid plus Vat ish. I beleive that Superflex have made these (and rear subframe bushes - apparently these are special as well?) before but are special order 6 weeks or so... Anyone point me in the direction of some quicker than that as the MoT is in about 2 weeks!! Mark
