A man was driving along the highway(in his 300ZX) and saw a rabbit(must have been daylight!) hopping across the middle of the road. He swerved to avoid hitting the rabbit, but unfortunately the rabbit jumped in front of the car and was hit. The driver, being a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulled over to the side of the road and got out to see what had become of the rabbit. Much to his dismay, the rabbit was dead. The driver felt so awful he began to cry. A woman driving down the highway(in a Nissan Micra) saw the man crying on the side of the road and pulled over. She stepped out of her car and asked the man what was wrong. "I feel terrible," h…

I know this has got to be a question that gets asked *all* the time, and you're probably bored to death but :-) What are you guy's paying for insurance (if I may be so bold as to ask), and how old/yrs NCB etc are you? I know I'm gonna be selling my kidneys to insure the car (Already had one quote of around £1700 from a high street insurer..) but just wondering.. I'm betting most of you are considerably older than me though Course I could be wrong! A curious Az.

I've been told by several people that the Techtom MDM100 was not beeing made anymore...which appears to be bull sh#t ! You can still buy them straight from the source ! (and for a reasonable price also) http://www.techtom.co.jp/index3.html (use an online translator like babelfish) Send those guys an email and the MDM100N (nissan-version) + shipping costs around 260GBP They have a lot of other nice gadgets as well...like the Techtom DL100 (which is an interface + software which allows you to show everything the MDM100 shows + more...on eg. a laptop in realtime !) http://www.techtom.co.jp/NFmdm100.html#DL100 or the Techtom HDM2000, which is …

Just phoned Firebond Insurance today to claim my £400 quote like many of you lot did, they say the company who did the modern classic policy with limited miles wont do it anymore because of the claims and they now quoted me nearly £1000, so if your with them expect a shock when the renewal comes through. My renewal with Aidrian Flux is £790 for my import, I still think this is an insult when you have 7 years no claims, a licence for 14 years and a £500 excess. Paul

Hi guys, me again. Posted some questions yesterday, most of which were answered - many thanks - but still need some info on the above. 1. Rear foglight - Mine is an aftermarket Lee-screw-on number fitted under the bumper. I'd like to integrate that into one of the reverse lights. Has anyone done this, what materials/tools do I need, and is it a tricky thing to do? Any feedback would be much appreciated. 2. Had a flat tire yesterday - wresstled with the next-to-impossible onboard jack (must get a better one) only to find out that my flat was flat as well ... Should have checked before of course but you know how life goes ... On the tyre itself it states that it must be…

You all know that the manual and auto have different ECU's, but is the difference only on the EPROM. If it is then does this mean that once an ECU has been socketed you could fit either a manual or auto chip depending on what car its for? Paul

Sorry to keep harping on, but I read this Interesting Artice! It's annoying when you think about the amount of money being pumped into keeping us all at the speed limits but it doesn't seem to be making much difference to me. Tim :-(

Just got back from a week away. Did anyone else spot the 2 seater Z in a film called "The Secret Life of Us" on Channel 4 on the 11th July? Didn't watch it all but I think it was one of the stars who was in it with a girl. Showed interior and exterior shots. First one i've ever seen on TV.

Hi Guys, I just recently bought myself a lovely '90 TT (silver, auto, jap-import) and have been flying high ever since. Had been looking around the US based BB's etc until ViJay introduced me to you lovely bunch of people. I'm based in Birmingham but work in London on a regular basis so I get to do a lot of cruising up and down the M40. I absolutely adore this car - always wanted to have one ever since it came out! I do have some questions that I would appreciate some honest answers to: 1. I am not best pleased with the brightness (or rather the lack there of) of the headlights. I have been looking around for replacement bulbs and came across some 30% brighter ones…

Now that I've corrected the duff TPS, I made the stupid mistake of being smug and believing my car would now run peachy forever. WRONG!!! Driving home last night when I developed a misfire as I was coming up my road. Turned out that the whole of the driver's side bank of the V6 was dead. You could pull the coil inputs on every cylinder and it made no difference. Checked the sparks by pulling the coils out and holding them near an earth. Checked out OK. Listened to the injectors with a metal bar. All 6 sounded the same. Wiggled every wire in sight with no effect. The fuel rails are mutually dependent so I ruled out fuel starvation. The throttle was…

Just travelled back from de Wales(aaaaiiiii...check it!) and as you come out of the roadworks where they are replacing the ARMCO(stuff you bounce off when you fall asleep to stop you crossing the carriageway and killing innocent people on the other side of the motorway! LOL!) there is an overhead sign. Nice little SPECCY twat has appeared since Friday! Bastards! BE CAREFUL ALL! So if you are going through Birmingham keep your speed down and eyes open. Tim :-(
