Did Nissan UK recall the Z32 89-93 to correct the faulty PTU's

Just wondered as over in Aus they are going mad at Nissan Australia and need amunition from other worldwide Nissan recalls.

I know that there was a recall on the Auto. Something to do with 2nd or 4th gear.

Some posted all of the recalls for the Z here a few weeks ago. There where thousands of them. Try doing a search.

As far as I know Glen it was just the States that got a replacement McPTU They probably wouldn't notice it had even gone, the power that must be sapped dragging those lardy arses interstate

In the ultimate exercise in futility we're going to request Nissan make it a voluntary recall like the US. With Australian heat they go real often. Thanks for the support Senna, but frankly the chances of Nissan agreeing are about as high as England winning the Ashes (Ducks for cover)

Negat. I spoke to Nissan UK when I got my car, they didn't even know what the f**k I was on about and suggested I contact Nissan in Land of Rising Sun...LOL!

Yeah this Recall thing is Totall BS - i would like to know why they did choose to offer a REcall in the US and not other territories ( was it a Recall in Japan ??) it is totall BS - they admit it is at fault but yet charge us a small fortuned to replace it.... Someone should really take ...

 

BTW ...VTD Bens Post England have every chance of winning the Ashes mate - we were just lulling you into a false sence of security inthe first test - You wont get too much more shit tho pal - unfortunatly Germany dont have a cricket team
